$1000 SIGNING BONUS! TEMPORARY $1 INCREASE PER HOUR THROUGH JUNE 30. CAS is a non-profit organization serving individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in their homes, communities, and with employment. We are currently seeking to hire multiple Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in the Portland Metro Area, and Columbia & Clatsop Counties. Each home serves 5 individuals who experience IDD in addition to significant medical challenges. Responsibilities include providing support and personal care as well as accompanying individuals in their chosen community activities. Most importantly, CAS is looking for person centered employees who will support our mission, which involves helping people to live the lives they want and choose. Preference is given to applicants with previous experience, but CAS will provide all necessary training on the job for job seekers who have a strong interest in helping and care for people. Preference is also given to those who are eligible to be a company driver.
Minimum Requirements:
-Must be 18 years or older
-Must pass a required criminal background check
-Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (does not include cannabis)
