REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of progressive experience focused on account management in a plant science industry.
- Demonstrated, verifiable track record of consistently maintaining customer relations and driving value as a horticulture expert.
- Must bring horticulture experience; this role is about consulting with customers, understanding their plant growth process, and leveraging that relationship and analysis to provide continual business revenue.
- Experience in customer relation process design and optimization.
- Experience addressing customer concerns, industry trends, and the development needs of the customer; must be a strong mentor capable of building relationships.
- Experience driving the adoption of an emerging platform (e.g. SaaS); enterprise experience is a strong plus.
- Personality profile to fit into high-growth, entrepreneurial culture that requires teamwork and significant interaction with employees at all levels.
- EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree is required; PhD is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Cultivation Solutions Lead will work closely with operations, business development, marketing, and finance teams to bridge the cohesiveness of sales for Conception. This person will contribute to dashboards with actionable metrics that feed the sales strategy while providing critical visibility to the organization and executive team. They will be a lead contributor to expanding into new service categories and increasing average contract value. This individual will exhibit company core values while working relentlessly to increase account value, including working with sales team, demoing at key industry conferences and meeting clients in virtual environments for live demonstrations

Detailed responsibilities to include…
- Drive Revenue: Work with the Sales team to maintain customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue opportunities. This includes continuing the conversion of existing beta customers to annual recurring revenue and developing new consultative services opportunities in those customers.

Strategy: Provide advice and consultative service of growing cannabis from tissue culture.

Educate and Evangelize: Work closely with the Director of Customer Success and Product Development and Science team to educate the market on the next generation of cannabis genetics and benefits of tissue culture.
- Execution: Consistently meet and exceed customer success objectives while building a reputation for innovative product strategies and techniques.

Account Management: Oversee and be responsible for the client relationship following first sale to make sure everything in the process flows smoothly and the client is satisfied with quality per agreed contract to drive recurring revenue.
- Customer Success Optimization: Measure and increase current revenue by standardizing the post sale process and guidelines, training, and education programs.

Customer Relationship Management: Use CRM system as reporting tools to measure key metrics in real-time while providing monthly, quarterly, and annual trends. This includes reports for key initiatives, category and industry progress, field productivity, and customer analysis. -
