As the leader in compliant cannabis banking, we’re currently seeking an energetic and outgoing Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team and help us connect to even more bank and credit union decision makers.
This is an opportunity to join a growth stage company serving an unmet need in an exploding market, and the BDR role is critical to our success. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, have a positive, customer service-oriented attitude, and the drive to take ownership of their role. You will be responsible for building rapport with leads and effectively managing your pipeline.
The Responsibilities*
- Develop and execute outbound phone and email campaigns to engage with new potential clients
- Identify, research, nurture, and transform marketing-qualified leads into sales-ready leads
- Secure and coordinate meetings between sales-ready leads and Green Check’s sales team
- Work with new potential clients to understand their needs and objectives
- Pitch qualified new potential clients on the value of Green Check and our key differentiators
- Provide campaign feedback to the Marketing team to improve lead quality
- Consult with and update sales and company leadership on progress and action plans
- Track lead activity and follow up actions in Green Check’s CRM
- Analyze and report on the success of prospecting efforts
- Strategy planning, both individually and as a team
*The Person
- 2+ years exposure in prospecting for business-to-business (b2b) inside sales position
- Experience calling and representing technology companies
- SaaS selling experience preferred
- Must be a highly persuasive and artful communicator
- Demonstrated sales aptitude; assertive, persistent, good listener, self-motivated and coachable
- High comfort level communicating on the phone
- Well organized and flexible with effective time-management skills
- Goal-oriented, able to meet and exceed monthly goals
- Knowledge of CRM or marketing automation software (Hubspot CRM preferred)
- Self-confident with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently as well as on a team
- Bachelor’s in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred
- Ability to be a brand ambassador for Green Check Verified
