Sales & Marketing Manager
We are looking for a hardcore Sales & Marketing Manager with the professional skills and experience to lead the way in building and managing a strategic Social and Influencer Marketing program to launch a new brand of extraordinary CBD products including D8 where applicable positioned to be meaningful and differentiating to the everyday mass-market consumer. The Sales & Marketing Manager will own AerosourceH’s customer acquisition and brand initiatives.
This individual will own the strategy and execution for customer acquisition. As such, they should be able to balance the quantitative and qualitative of marketing. This individual will be expected to own budgeting and key marketing metrics, such as customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV). While they are not required to be a universal expert, they should have experience across several marketing channels including email/CRM, public relations (PR), search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media (Facebook, Instagram), podcast, YouTube, influencers, and affiliate marketing. As channels prove viable (or lift restrictions on CBD advertising), this individual will be responsible for switching gears to advertise and market accordingly.
In addition to customer acquisition, a successful candidate will develop a strategic marketing plan across the company in retail locations and ecommerce, while evolving our brand/product experience for the future. They will be expected to not only develop our customer segments, competitive positioning, and brand value proposition—but also champion their consistent use across the organization. Creating a strong brand standard is what AerosourceH wants to invest in heavily to ensure staying power with the Sales & Marketing Manager being the key player in making it happen.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Quickly get an understanding of our products and services to assist customers

- Define communication strategies ranging from email, blog, outbound calling, social media, advertisements, and more.

Sales
- Service leads from existing and prospective customers.
- Identify and follow up on leads via phone and email, documenting all attempts and outcomes of leads within the company's sales software.
- Evaluate our new and existing customers’ requirements in order to help them.
- Exceed monthly and weekly sales & activity targets (the more you sell, the greater you’ll earn).
- Be flexible in adapting to change while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable.

Marketing
- Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously ranging from promotions, web design and development, marketing material creation, market research, affiliate program, and more.
- Build custom marketing plans to maximize return on investment (ROI)
- Evaluate and adjust marketing strategies to respond to changing competitive markets.
- Direct company website, develop content, manage marketing communications, oversee advertising and sponsorships, and ensure platform is properly marketed to target audience.
- Plan marketing and branding objectives.
- Ensure brand messages are consistent.
- Establish marketing KPIs and routinely report to General Manager and Ownership on progress
- Handling all SEO
- Assisting in the release of new websites/brands
- Driving traffic and revenue through our online websites

We are located in Southern IL/Western KY, and are ideally looking for someone in the area, however we are open to a remote situation if the right person comes along. Some travel for conferences, sales meetings, etc. will be essential and should be expected.

.Do you qualify?
- Passion and desire to spread knowledge of Cannabinoids and Cannabis
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or Marketing (requirement could be waived for right candidate)
- 5+ years of Sales, Customer Service or Marketing experience, preferably as a marketing or brand manager for a consumer products company
- Experience in the CBD and/or Cannabis industry is highly desirable
- Experience in graphic design, web development and copywriting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint
- Project Management experience and ability to create and manage Gantt charts
- Experience with various social and influencer management software, apps and tools as well as managing whitelisting campaigns
- Experience in managing paid advertising on social media platforms
- Ability to provide examples of previously successful, highly strategic, social, influencer, digital programs for consumer products, preferably health/wellness (new brand launches, a big plus)
- Expert understanding and ability to apply the fundamentals of sales and marketing with proven experience in both CPG at mass-market and Direct-to-consumer eCommerce business models
- Some experience managing (personally or through direct reports) consumer public relations is a plus
- Well-versed in all social media platforms, and when, why and how to use them efficiently and effectively
- Expert-level experience working with creators to produce valuable content on time, on budget, on-brand, and on-strategy.
- Be goal-oriented and look for solutions even when things are tough or frustrating
- Be able to problem solve, think quickly and in the moment

STATUS: Hourly, Non-Exempt
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for maintaining safety and security of cannabis dispensary for patients, purchasers, employees, and visitors.
SUPERVISED BY: On-Site Dispensary Manager, Assistant Manager, and Director of Security
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a busy cannabis dispensary monitoring the administrative office area, dispensary area, and other areas of the facility as needed. Will be in almost constant contact with both staff and adult purchasers. Will check in eligible adult purchasers and allow access inside the dispensary. Work can be stressful and may include dealing with consumers, outside vendors/contractors, inspectors, and law enforcement. Must be available to work varied hours and/or days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Agent-in Charge (AIC’s) must be employed full-time. AIC’s are responsible for maintaining complete compliance within the dispensary. Must know and enforce all rules/laws/acts and policy guidelines. Understand the entire workings within the store from the front to the back. Understand the destruction process and participate as needed. Knowledgeable of all security requirements, inventory, store opening and closing functions. Participate in scheduled delivery and intake procedures. Be able to assist staff with daily inventory duties and vault activities. Must be the first point of contact for all state regulators and Illinois state police inspections.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
- Scan all cards for authenticity and verify eligibility in order to access dispensary.
- Greet everyone at the door with a welcoming and enthusiastic manner.
- Monitor surveillance cameras at control desk.
- Must keep current with the dispensary flow & product locations.
- Utilize radio for communications.
- Monitor suspicious activity and report all findings to Dispensary Manager.
- Patrol areas of the dispensary (indoors and out).
- Provide documentation and reports of any adverse incidents.
- Oversee all monthly security checks and maintain proper documentation.
- Assist with product deliveries as needed.
- Train and Supervise the 3rd party, contracted security team members.
- Recall of company, state & federal procedures & policies.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Immediate attention to all threats or other incidents at facility.
- Be courteous and friendly to patients, purchasers, visitors, and staff.
- Adept at radio communications.
- Deep understanding of surveillance and security measures.
- Assistance with cash management and coordination of deposits when needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior law enforcement experience a plus, but not required. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Hardworking, persistent, and dependable. Previous experience with Microsoft Office software preferred.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work requires periods of prolonged sitting and standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a cash register, computer, telephone, calculator, etc. May require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
