Position Summary

The Inventory Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the compliant receipt and transfer of cannabis product in their assigned vault, including investigation and resolution of variances. The Inventory Assistant Manager supervises the Inventory team and works closely with the Retail team to ensure sufficient stocking of the storefront.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Manages the secure and compliant receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of the vault
• Performs investigation of variances and prepares report of findings for issue resolution and prevention of recurrence
• Ensures compliant receipt of wholesale deliveries by verifying manifest accuracy and coordinating with Asset Protection regarding delivery schedule
• Maintains accurate virtual inventory in METRC and LeafLogix
• Manages the Inventory team, including scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, and corrective action with support of the Store Manager
• Performs regular cycle counts, internal audit, and reconciliation processes
• Maintains compliance with Company SOPs and CCC regulations
• Performs retail order fulfillment with the vault
• Coordinates closely with Retail team to ensure accuracy of item availability
• Reports when items are low on stock and/or sold out to drive sales
• Maintains website compliance and proper testing input
• Coordinates with Asset Protection to ensure compliant disposal of waste

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 3 years of inventory management experience required
• At least 3 years of leadership experience required
• Basic database management experience required, including data entry and data reconciliation
• Basic math skills including adding and subtraction required
• Proficiency with Excel required
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle

Position Summary

The Retail Lead performs the same customer service duties as a Retail Associate, but also provides support to management, including assigning daily division of duties and resolving issues. Retail Leads must possess leadership skills and expertise with regard to Insa policies, procedures, and cannabis regulations.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provides friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate customer service to customers and advises them on their unique needs and preferences


• Performs transactions using computerized point of sale system and ensures accurate cash handling

• Organizes daily division of duties for Associates to ensure floor is stocked and prepared for sale and that storefront is clean and organized to maintain brand standards


• Performs daily setup closing procedures including assignment of radios, creating daily schedule, stocking and closing registers, and allocating labor during high-volume periods; provides coverage to Associates during meal breaks


• Maintains a calm demeanor during high-volume times to ensure customer satisfaction


• Assists Retail Associates with resolving customer concerns and/or complaints using prescribed procedures, including de-escalation techniques when necessary


• Maintains open communication with Inventory Specialists to understand availability of products


• Maintains compliance with Company SOPs and OMMU regulations, including sales limits and proper checking of ID specifications


• Willing and able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday work

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience required

Position Summary

The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for ensuring the safe and secure operation of Company Retail facilities. This person must provide an orderly and secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provides friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate customer service to customers and advises them on their unique needs and preferences


• Uses expertise to educate customers on the brand, product options, and regulatory compliance


• Authorizes and monitors facility access for employees, customers, and visitors by checking IDs, providing escorts, and completing and retaining applicable records while maintaining the customer experience


• Maintains compliance with Company SOPs and CCC regulations, including sales limits and proper checking of ID specifications


• Monitors front door access to maintain occupancy limits and provide crowd control


• Assists Retail team with incident response, including de-escalation and conflict management. Escalates issues to management and/or law enforcement if appropriate


• Conducts property and premises inspections; performs trash removal and ensures all entryways are clear of obstruction


• Performs ice and snow removal during inclement weather (subject to location)


• Assists with inter-facility receipt of deliveries


• Monitors parking lot area to provide traffic control


• Assists Retail with customer service responsibilities as needed


• Willing and able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday work

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be at least 21 years of age


• High school diploma or GED required


• Previous experience in a security, corrections, or law enforcement environment preferred


• Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred

Position Summary

• Ensures all equipment, hardware, and point of sale software are functioning; troubleshoots and escalates issues if needed

• Maintains comprehensive understanding of industry rules and regulations related to retail in order to uphold compliance standards

• Assesses sales floor flow and inventory needs; audits and monitors high-volume regulated inventory

• Performs data analytics to compare sales and inventory, i.e. pivot tables, to assess trends and project future needs

• Ensures a secure facility and makes sure all staff comply with established safety and security procedures

• Assists with other management tasks such as scheduling, managing time off requests, and completing payroll as assigned by the Retail Store Manager

Responsibilities & Duties

• Manages the secure and compliant receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of the vault
• Performs investigation of variances and prepares report of findings for issue resolution and prevention of recurrence
• Ensures compliant receipt of wholesale deliveries by verifying manifest accuracy and coordinating with Asset Protection regarding delivery schedule
• Maintains accurate virtual inventory in METRC and LeafLogix
• Manages the Inventory team, including scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, and corrective action with support of the Store Manager
• Performs regular cycle counts, internal audit, and reconciliation processes

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs occasionally

• Visual acuity needed for viewing computer screens and fine print

• Busy retail environment with moderate noise level
• Indoor/outdoor environment with exposure to seasonal temperature changes
• High volume work during peak hours, events and holidays
