- A Bachelor of Science in horticulture with an ornamental-horticulture emphasis.

- A valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain: a Pennsylvania Pesticide Applicator’s license; forklift operator’s training certificate; and aerial lift training.

The Senior Wellness Associate is a tenured associate responsible to assist patients, dispense and sell medical marijuana, inventory management, and support the Dispensary Manager in the transfer of marijuana products and strains between the vault and the dispensary floor during operational hours. Dispensary Pharmacist
Full time (exempt)
The Dispensary Pharmacist will support operations and maintain compliance within the dispensary as it relates to patient intake, certification, and consultation process. This will include providing up to date clinical information, ensuring the patient receives optimal medical care based on their individual case, while adhering to strict state guidelines and regulations. This position will effectively communicate with all levels of the organization to implement and maintain protocols, policies, and procedures in accordance with company standards.
This position will support patients at our Kennett Square dispensary.
Key responsibilities include:
Pharmacist/clinical focus
- Counsel patients based on parameters listed within the physician certification; if no parameters, employ best practice to make the appropriate recommendation to the patient.
- Actively engage in patient care, including resolving patient related conflicts and issues.
- Train staff according to PAOFW guidelines while ensuring compliance with all PA Medical Marijuana Program rules and regulations.
- Conduct ongoing research to expand personal knowledge and education; disseminate information to patients, dispensary personnel, and company leaders as appropriate.
- Annual HIPAA Compliance training required.
- Review and assist in receiving all deliveries with diligence, accuracy, and in accordance with PAOFW as well as state regulations.
- Create effective organization and information gathering for all inventory regarding special patient orders, weekly specials, etc.
- Support nightly and monthly inventory audits in accordance with PAOFW and state guidelines to ensure there is no diversion of inventory; respond to any discrepancies.
- Prepare and effectively lead state inspectors through inspections, both announced and unannounced.
- Maintain all necessary records including, but not limited to, delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and monthly inventory counts, necessary employee and patient/customer information, logbooks, inventory adjustments, destruction reports, etc.
Dispensary operations support
- Under direction from the General Manager, support dispensary operations through the inventory process including receiving shipments, product count and reconciliation, and opening/closing vault as well as opening/closing dispensary as needed.
- Provide education, guidance, mentoring, and feedback to dispensary team members as requested/required.
Non-essential duties and responsibilities
- Communicate with certifying physicians, as needed.
- Take part in PAOFW research opportunities, as needed.
