A Mechanized Trimmer Operator II is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of a mechanized trimmer used to facilitate the adequate right of way clearance for distribution and/or transmission power lines. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and strive to push forward AECI’s mission.
Responsibilities:
- Drives/operates ROW vehicles and equipment as necessary to safely and efficiently complete tasks and projects.
- Performs daily inspection and maintenance of chainsaws and safety equipment; must be able to safely and efficiently operate chainsaws.
- Performs right of way clearing duties, to include the following: bucket work, climbing work, ground clearing, cutting, chipping, piling, burning, and other disposal of brush.
- Safely operates mechanized trimmer to trim trees along right of way. Stop work and notify supervisor in the event of safety hazards.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and keeps documentation of maintenance performed.
- Inspects ROW in front of equipment to flag obstacles (i.e. phone pedestals, guy wire, septic tanks/systems, water and gas lines/meters, etc.)
- Performs traffic control duties around work area as needed.
- Must understand general safety rules and policies and promote good relations with other crew members, patron cooperatives, and the general public.
- The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
- In pursuant of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to AECC/AECI standards and processes.
- As a condition of employment, this position requires a post – offer, pre-employment Fitness for Duty Exam
- At least 6 months experience and/or training.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Able to work in outside or inside working environment, wherein there are potentially hazardous working conditions and life-threatening situations exist (fire, chemical, moving mechanical parts, electrical sources, fumes, airborne particles, heights, dangerous people, etc.).
- Able to work in extreme heat or cold
- Able to work in extremely loud areas
- Able to perform highly repetitive and physical functions
- Must be able to travel to various locations and stay overnight as required to complete work assignments
- Must be able to work extra hours when necessary and report to work whenever needed during non-scheduled working periods
- Training specified in 29 CFR 1910.269(a)(1)(i)(E)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

The Cultivation Controls Technician (CCT) is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of all
systems related to the cultivation and curing of cannabis. These systems include but are not limited to
lighting, temperature, humidity, irrigation, and CO2. The skillset required for this role is a hybrid of
technical aptitude and knowledge of indoor cultivation practices. In addition to day-to-day operation,
this individual will be responsible for carrying out and assisting in development of strategies aimed at
constant improvement of crop performance and resource use efficiency. This position requires
collaboration across multiple departments within the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:
ï‚· Daily monitoring of all system data points to ensure proper operation of equipment and control
system programming
ï‚· Immediate reporting of any abnormalities in system performance to supervisor and appropriate
parties for repair/maintenance
ï‚· Assist in diagnosing the cause of malfunctions to support repair/maintenance process
ï‚· Implement new strategies in lighting, climate, irrigation, and CO2 as directed to achieve
improvements to the cannabis cultivation process
ï‚· Regularly take field measurements to audit the performance and accuracy of automated control
systems
ï‚· Assist in the preparation of reports on cannabis crop performance based on environmental
inputs (temperature, humidity, CO2, lighting, air movement, fertilizer, and water).
ï‚· Collaborate with cultivation farm team on reviewing impact of systems on plant growth and pest
management
ï‚· Participate in rotational on-call support for after-hours troubleshooting
ï‚· Support in the maintenance of equipment controlled by Damatex and Wadsworth Control
Systems. Clean and maintain all areas, equipment, and material throughout the work area.
ï‚· Perform daily walks throughout the cultivation facility to visually inspect equipment operation
and plant health
ï‚· Test equipment in the field as needed
ï‚· Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help
facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, harvesting, trimming, packaging,
cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
(This is not a primary responsibility for this position but may be required as needed)

- Maintain organization and cleanliness of immediate work area and shared spaces.

- Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained, calibrated, transported, and stored.
- Keep and maintain equipment maintenance and repair logs.
- Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Maryland Medical Cannabis
- Follow all state and federal compliance regulations, as necessary.
- Report any violations of compliance regulations to management.
This position works under the direct supervision of the Cultivation Controls Manager

Work Experience
- At least three months experience working with automated controls systems. This can include
- One year of work experience in a related industry or work environment preferred
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel and Word).
- Understanding of computer networking preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment preferred.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work as part of team.
- Knowledge and background in commercial cannabis cultivation strongly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain nature of request, provides correct information and forms
- Reviews and validates constituents' identification and documentation to complete vital records request, interviewing constituents for pertinent information related to completing transaction.
- Processes fees according to established policies and procedures.
- Searches for records in the system, accurately completes routine birth and/or death changes/ amendments (i.e. dates, spelling of names, etc.) when necessary and issues certificate.
- Balances drawer daily, including periodic batching of cash and checks.
- Resolves constituents' questions and complaints regarding all Vital Records requests.
- Opens mail and reviews request for proper documentation and process requests.
- Registers requests into tracking system.
- Performs various clerical duties (i.e., photocopying materials, filing, and data entry).
- Completes routine amendments as needed, issues and mails or provides certificates to constituents in person.
- Sends complex search and special services requests (e.g., Adoptions, Parental Acknowledgement Home Births, Delayed Births and Deaths) for processing to Records Management team, informs constituents of the timeframe and options for waiting.
- Processes incoming and outgoing mail, weighs mail and affixes postage either by hand or with a meter.
- Responding to physician questions regarding the Cannabis program registry, patients and caregivers
- Communicating with caregivers/patients to validate information to be printed
- Resolving customer, physician and caregiver issues/complaints
- Tracking all program activity

Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND One year of related experience OR Three years of related experience.
