Our field marketing team is seeking a Brand Ambassador!! This position will be ON-SITE at cannabis dispensaries across the state of Pennsylvania. This is a contract (1099), position. Events primarily take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
1906 New Highs is an innovative multi-state operator (MSO) in the fast-growing cannabis edibles industry. We produce, then license our suite of experience-focused, plant-based edibles (drops, beans, and chocolate peanut butter cups) to licensee partners in eight states. We have seen rapid growth to new markets in 2022. We are adding to our team to support these substantial growth plans. Including the addition of multiple other markets before the close of this year. This new role will help accelerate our team's progress.
The Brand Ambassador plays a key role in representing the 1906 brand at dispensaries and outreach events. This is a 1099 position that supports both the Marketing and Sales teams to drive revenue growth, increase brand visibility, consumer engagement, and strengthen key partnerships.

JOB DUTIES:
- Help drive our revenue growth through meaningful consumer engagements
- Support Marketing and Sales teams in the field through implementation of marketing activations including but not limited to in-store pop-ups and other industry events
- Work collaboratively with Sales & Marketing to increase sales, engage retail sales staff, merchandise displays, and increase 1906 brand presence in-store
- Always represent the brand and company in a positive and professional manner
- Maintain high level of product knowledge and clearly communicate product details and benefits to customers and retail staff
- Activate retail accounts through marketing and sales initiatives, events, and merchandising product displays
- Build and maintain positive relationships with industry and dispensary contacts
- Provide regular post-event reports to Sales and Field Marketing team
- Collaborate with Sales Team to identify & prioritize account needs, growth opportunities, and implementation of sales & marketing initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly approachable & warm personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule. Weekends are when the majority of our events take place, availability for this is crucial.
- Skilled in relationship building
- Punctuality and excellent time-management skills
- A high degree of integrity and ethical conduct at all times
- Comfortable with technology & computers
- Strong attention to detail
- General understanding of cannabis & cannabis culture
- Must have own vehicle with sufficient space to transport event materials to and from events across PA
- Must pass a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws
- Local Pennsylvania candidate, residing within 45 miles of Hershey.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in retail sales, including influence, problem solving, active listening, and offer recommendations.
- Experience working in the cannabis, health and wellness, adult beverage, or beauty industry.
TOTAL REWARDS:
- $20 - $25 and Hour (dependent on experience)

Greenhouse manager/cultivator
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for all aspects of management, including overseeing cannabis growing and cultivation management by strategizing cannabis production over the year and monitoring the progress of such crops for optimal quality, health, and yield.
- This is a grower role and requires experience as a managing grower or crop engineer. The grower is an organized person with confidence in their growing abilities, a great feel for the health of the plants and experience in advising a highly productive and enthusiastic team of greenhouse management, growers and associated staff.
- Manage and maintain grow house protocols with a small team of highly effective employees.
- Analyze and catalog each individual strain from clone to harvest.
- Implement solid preventative measures against contaminants.
- Weekly Report on the Facility, Nutrition, Plant Overall Wellness, Expenses.
- Keep Up to date to regulation and compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum age 21.
- Bachelors or higher degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Plant Science or a related field or plus min 1 to 2 years of plant growing experience in commercial greenhouse-based agriculture and Indoor-based facility.
- 1 to 2 years of experience growing plants in a large production environment.
- Expertise in the identification and treatment of cannabis diseases and pests.
- Experience with directing and managing staff.
- Expertise in using both non, semi, and fully automated growing environments in a greenhouse, including lighting, humidity, CO2 controls, irrigation systems.
- Ability to advise on all relevant cultivation standard operating procedures and the ability to advise on strains and create yield KPIs.
- Expertise in plant genetics and growing environments.
- Previous experience in the cannabis industry (preferred).
- Experience in cannabis Track and Trace system preferred.
Must be agreeable to flexible work schedule and willing to work on weekends
