- The Supervisor, Retail Operations provides management and leadership in the Dispensing Facility to include monitoring all point of sale transactions.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations manages patient specific logs as required, the receipt, storage and auditing of all inventory, and is responsible for ordering new inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records using BioTrackTHC, the Dispensing Facility’s inventory tracking software program.
- As the responsible party at the Dispensing Facility, this position resolves all inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations is responsible for the development of the Dispensing Facility’s privacy policies and procedures, the security and confidentiality of all patient information, as well as overall compliance with HIPAA.
- This position acts as a liaison internally between all staff, dispensary management team and the Manager, and externally between the Dispensing Facility and law enforcement, Commissioner of Health, and the local community.
- Directs and monitors department managers to accomplish goals of the plan, consistent with established and safety procedures.

Summary

The Retail Associate is primarily responsible for providing assistance to patrons and patients through concierge-level service, assuring anyone who visits a store leaves satisfied. - Understand The Green Solution exchange policy, accessories manufacturer warranties, and how to facilitate guest merchandise returns to Lead Associate and Management
- Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing
- Answer phone with scripted greeting, provide customer service, and accept TGS Express or Call-Ahead orders
- Accurately record phone and online orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Confirm accuracy of order displayed in POS (correct product, quantity and/or weight, RFID, Pricing, etc.)
- Verify correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling according to The Green Solution policy
- Operate cash register by using barcode scanner, computer-based POS system and cash drawer to process transactions, ensuring patrons and patients leave with labeled product inside of a state regulated exit bag with correct change and a receipt
- Adhere to The Green Solution security protocol and promote safety for patrons, patients and other Team Members
- Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines

Position Overview:
The Supervisor, Retail Operations (the “Supervisor) is responsible for assisting the Manager with interfacing, consulting with qualified patient and caregiver and administering approved medical marijuana products. The Supervisor oversees all activities related to the operation of the Dispensing Facility to include patient identification and registration, record retention, product tracking and inventory control as directed by the Manager.

Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations ensures compliance with all Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program rules and regulations governing the Act, and directly supervises the activity within the dispensary to include dispensary staff training and education in the absence of the Manager and as directed.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations provides management and leadership in the Dispensing Facility to include monitoring all point of sale transactions.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations manages patient specific logs as required, the receipt, storage and auditing of all inventory, and is responsible for ordering new inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records using BioTrackTHC, the Dispensing Facility’s inventory tracking software program.
- As the responsible party at the Dispensing Facility, this position resolves all inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations is responsible for the development of the Dispensing Facility’s privacy policies and procedures, the security and confidentiality of all patient information, as well as overall compliance with HIPAA.
- This position acts as a liaison internally between all staff, dispensary management team and the Manager, and externally between the Dispensing Facility and law enforcement, Commissioner of Health, and the local community.
- Directs and monitors department managers to accomplish goals of the plan, consistent with established and safety procedures.
- Establishes methods to follows the operating plan in compliance with the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program, maintaining records required by public health law and ensures quality assurance plans, including but limited to plans to detect, identify and prevent dispensing errors related to product packaging and labeling.
- Manages and implements policies and procedures for any retesting of returned approved medical marijuana products, storage and disposal and meeting reporting requirements for adverse events and product recall.
- This position is responsible for assisting with implementing and maintaining security systems for tracking, record keeping, record retention and surveillance related to all product at every stage of, storage, delivery, transporting, and distribution.

- Implement HR policies and programs in support of company initiatives. Direct all compliance efforts for the company to minimize risk.

Summary

The Retail Associate is primarily responsible for providing assistance to patrons and patients through concierge-level service, assuring anyone who visits a store leaves satisfied. Individual responsibilities as a Retail Associate include demonstrating outstanding customer service and sales skills, assisting with keeping the sales floor stocked with merchandise and/or organizing the sales floor and stock areas. The Retail Associate conducts day-to-day operations within the retail location while adhering to company policy and industry regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns
- Lead tours of sales floor within the store, making product recommendations based on ongoing research of strains, cannabinoids and vendor-produced products available
- Maintain knowledge of all cannabis strain profiles, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and accessories for sale in the dispensary, utilizing knowledge of how cannabinoid profiles and potency affect the body
- Retain thorough and comprehensive knowledge of patient and member benefits, discounts, coupons and promotions, encouraging memberships for medical guests
- Understand The Green Solution exchange policy, accessories manufacturer warranties, and how to facilitate guest merchandise returns to Lead Associate and Management
- Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing
- Answer phone with scripted greeting, provide customer service, and accept TGS Express or Call-Ahead orders
- Accurately record phone and online orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Confirm accuracy of order displayed in POS (correct product, quantity and/or weight, RFID, Pricing, etc.)
- Verify correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling according to The Green Solution policy
- Operate cash register by using barcode scanner, computer-based POS system and cash drawer to process transactions, ensuring patrons and patients leave with labeled product inside of a state regulated exit bag with correct change and a receipt
- Adhere to The Green Solution security protocol and promote safety for patrons, patients and other Team Members
- Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines
- Fill all time during scheduled shifts with productive, useful activity, including cleaning, stocking, researching, organizing or completing any other tasks to contribute to company success
- Adhere to all company uniform policy and preserve all provided necessary equipment
- Uphold personal hygiene to ensure safe interaction with patients, product and other Team Members
