Job Description
Position Summary:
The Grower will be responsible to ensure nursery cultural practices are planned and implemented to achieve target standards for all products while assisting in risk management activities ensuring stock is properly protected. The Grower will assist in monitoring and tracking the crops against growth curves and keeping irrigation and climatic records. They will also assist in supervising and training nursery workers, and maintaining, repairing and upgrading nursery facilities and equipment in use. Some weekend and shift work will be required.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Either a two-year or four-year diploma in in horticulture or agriculture, or an acceptable combination of formal training and relevant experience
- Experience working in horticulture, greenhouse, and/or /farming operations including the ability to coordinate and supervise operational tasks, planning, and crew supervision
- Ability to make minor repairs to irrigation systems and other production equipment
- Proven experience collecting data, defining problems, establishing facts, and draw valid conclusions necessary to identify a wide variety of conditions such as plant diseases or insects
- The ability to work with minimal direct supervision
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office

Dispensary Nurse (LPN)
The Opportunity:
As a Dispensary Nurse you will be at the forefront of making sure patients get the medications as ordered by our clinical team. This gives you the opportunity to connect one on one with patients at their time of needing help with medications assisting them in feeling their best. You will be at times the patient's last point of contact in the office, and that will give you the chance to use your strong verbal skills to engage with them, creating trusting relationships with each encounter. You will enhance their knowledge about their medication thus opening the door for patient feedback and/or questions. What you'll be working on:
- Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
- Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
- Maintaining appropriate inventory by doing weekly inventory and weekly medication ordering as per Clinic Formulary indicates.
- Dispense medications and refill medications as ordered per Provider.
- Ensure medication labels are properly completed before dispensing.
- Maintain medications in the dispensary with appropriate dates, discarding expired medications as indicated.
- Storing medications as indicated by Pharmaceutical Company i.e. appropriate room temperature and/or refrigerated medications will be stored in a temperature monitored refrigerator.
- Ensure all medications dispensed are in a childproof container.
- Ensure that two teammates check and initial medication(s) to assure accuracy before patients receive medication.
- Ensure there's a licensed person in the clinic before dispensing medication(s).
- Ensure the patient is provided with a medication information sheet for each medication prescribed and dispensed.
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- At least one year of Nursing experience administering medications in a patient care setting or Home Health Care.
- State licensed in Alabama
- Ability to work Saturdays (required)
- Ability to commute to both our Hoover and Birmingham offices
- Experience with Phlebotomy (preferred)

INTRODUCTION:
Sawyer Nursery, Inc. is located in Hudsonville, Michigan with a facility in Leesburg Alabama. We are an exclusive supplier of perennials plants to big box retail stores in the Great Lakes region.
The Assistant Grower will work alongside the Head Grower/Manager to complete all production operations to finish plant material.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Communicates daily with the Head Grower/Manager to establish task list for following day.
2. Prepares Cultural Supervisor with task list to get crews/tools/implements lined out prior to start time each day.
3. Ensures all forms for plant movements, dumps, and piecerate payout are completed by Cultural Supervisor and submitted daily. Will forward any relevant forms to the Inventory Department.
4. Scouts all plant material in production to prevent pest and disease issues.
5. Coordinates with Head Grower to establish preventative chemical application rotations and with chemical applicators to complete the applications.
6. Ensures all Irrigation Schedules are completed daily and submitted monthly.
7. Ensures all Chemical Application forms are completed and submitted daily. Inputs information from Chemical Application forms into Chemical Application Form files in computer.
8. Performs a physical Inventory on Chemicals and Soil Mix components monthly.
9. Performs other duties as necessary in support of company goals and objectives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to supervise and make necessary adjustments to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
2. Ability to organize and maintain all paperwork and data entry.
3. Ability to use computer applications (namely Excel) and hardware.
4. Ability to effectively communicate with employees, other departmental supervisors and management. This includes all Spanish and English speaking personnel.
5. Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently.

Dispensary Nurse (LPN)
The Opportunity:
As a Dispensary Nurse you will be at the forefront of making sure patients get the medications as ordered by our clinical team. This gives you the opportunity to connect one on one with patients at their time of needing help with medications assisting them in feeling their best. You will be at times the patient's last point of contact in the office, and that will give you the chance to use your strong verbal skills to engage with them, creating trusting relationships with each encounter. You will enhance their knowledge about their medication thus opening the door for patient feedback and/or questions. You'd be an important teammate and this position will let you help patient's in a unique way.

What you'll be working on:
- Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
- Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
- Maintaining appropriate inventory by doing weekly inventory and weekly medication ordering as per Clinic Formulary indicates.
- Dispense medications and refill medications as ordered per Provider.
- Ensure medication labels are properly completed before dispensing.
- Maintain medications in the dispensary with appropriate dates, discarding expired medications as indicated.
- Storing medications as indicated by Pharmaceutical Company i.e. appropriate room temperature and/or refrigerated medications will be stored in a temperature monitored refrigerator.
- Ensure all medications dispensed are in a childproof container.
- Ensure that two teammates check and initial medication(s) to assure accuracy before patients receive medication.
- Ensure there's a licensed person in the clinic before dispensing medication(s).
- Ensure the patient is provided with a medication information sheet for each medication prescribed and dispensed.
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- At least one year of Nursing experience administering medications in a patient care setting or Home Health Care.
- State licensed in Alabama
- Ability to work Saturdays (required)
- Ability to commute to both our Hoover and Birmingham offices
- Experience with Phlebotomy (preferred)

As a Dispensary Nurse you will be at the forefront of making sure patients get the medications as ordered by our clinical team. Dispensary Nurse (LPN)
The Opportunity:
As a Dispensary Nurse you will be at the forefront of making sure patients get the medications as ordered by our clinical team. This gives you the opportunity to connect one on one with patients at their time of needing help with medications assisting them in feeling their best. You will be at times the patient's last point of contact in the office, and that will give you the chance to use your strong verbal skills to engage with them, creating trusting relationships with each encounter. You will enhance their knowledge about their medication thus opening the door for patient feedback and/or questions. You'd be an important teammate and this position will let you help patient's in a unique way.

What you'll be working on:
- Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
- Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
- Maintaining appropriate inventory by doing weekly inventory and weekly medication ordering as per Clinic Formulary indicates.
- Dispense medications and refill medications as ordered per Provider.
- Ensure medication labels are properly completed before dispensing.
- Maintain medications in the dispensary with appropriate dates, discarding expired medications as indicated.
- Storing medications as indicated by Pharmaceutical Company i.e. appropriate room temperature and/or refrigerated medications will be stored in a temperature monitored refrigerator.
- Ensure all medications dispensed are in a childproof container.
- Ensure that two teammates check and initial medication(s) to assure accuracy before patients receive medication.
- Ensure there's a licensed person in the clinic before dispensing medication(s).
- Ensure the patient is provided with a medication information sheet for each medication prescribed and dispensed.
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- At least one year of Nursing experience administering medications in a patient care setting or Home Health Care.
- State licensed in Alabama
- Ability to work Saturdays (required)
- Ability to commute to both our Hoover and Birmingham offices
- Experience with Phlebotomy (preferred)

As a Dispensary Nurse you will be at the forefront of making sure patients get the medications as ordered by our clinical team. This gives you the opportunity to connect one on one with patients at their time of needing help with medications assisting them in feeling their best. - Dispense medications and refill medications as ordered per Provider.

- Ensure that two teammates check and initial medication(s) to assure accuracy before patients receive medication.
- Ensure there's a licensed person in the clinic before dispensing medication(s).
- Ensure the patient is provided with a medication information sheet for each medication prescribed and dispensed.
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- At least one year of Nursing experience administering medications in a patient care setting or Home Health Care.
- State licensed in Alabama

We are preparing to experience tremendous growth and are currently seeking lab technicians to work in our state-of-the-art processing center in Phenix City, Alabama. At this facility, we operate a next-level, high capacity industrial hemp extraction lab, and are looking to train the right people who want to grow with us and enjoy a career in the fast growing hemp industry.
We are looking for Lab Technicians to work in our facility to assist in processing industrial hemp. Your daily tasks will include following carefully crafted recipes and methodologies for extraction, winterization, solvent recovery, distillation, quality control and more. We prefer candidates to have some experience with extraction techniques and processes, but experience is not required. Above all, we value candidates who are reliable, hard-working and teachable. We want candidates who will follow SOPs and GMP/ISO guidelines, and can work safely and effectively in a clean-room environment. All necessary training related to the operation of the lab and equipment will be provided.
Salary ranges from 40K-45K per year.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain high quality cGMP standards.
- Data analysis.
- Maintain all laboratory logs and documents, paper and digital.
- Operate manufacturing/chromatography equipment, troubleshoot equipment failures and perform preventive maintenance.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain clean work spaces.
- Sample and test product at critical stages.
- Handle hazardous material.
- Check email and daily production communication board for announcements and goals.
- Reports all necessary information and details regarding production to the laboratory manager.
- Follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ability to bend, sit, or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
- Complete additional tasks, as needed or directed.
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
- Chemistry or related science degree.
- Experience in related industries such as food manufacturing/pharma/chemistry.
- Familiarity working with volatile organic compounds (Ethanol primarily).
- Experience working with a start up.
- Cannabis/hemp manufacturing experience.
- Roto-evaporator familiarity.
- Chromatography, distillation, crystallization, filtering, basic math and chemistry.
- OSHA, ISO, cGMP, cGLP familiarity.

Urology Associates of Mobile, PA, a busy 14 provider Urology practice in the Mobile and Baldwin County, is currently seeking a full time In Office Dispensary Technician to join our amazing team.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage process of filling, selling, and obtaining insurance authorization of all prescriptions run through the In Office Dispensary including, but not limited to, oral oncolytics and erectile dysfunction drugs.
2. Manage all patients run through the free drug programs. This will consist of assisting the patients with the appropriate paperwork and ordering refills as needed.
3. Serve on the Performance Improvement committee.
4. Purchase and log all oral medications and buy & bill drugs through the distributor.
5. Manage the pre-certification process for all buy & bill drugs. This will include oral and injectable medications.
6. Monitor all Prostate Cancer Foundations and ensure all patients are able to obtain needed foundation money.
7. Manage all compliance processes for the In Office Dispensary.
8. Ensure workflows stay in compliance with CMS and ACHC rules and regulations.
9. Conduct quarterly audits to ensure proper dispensary workflows are being followed.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
1. Required license: Medical Assistant with CMA or RMA credentials.
2. Three years of relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of certifications.
