Wholesale Inventory Manager
At Misty Mountain Shop we want provide our guests with a wide variety of Cannabis products to ensure we are meeting all of their Cannabis needs. The Inventory Manager will maintain a close working relationship with the General Manager to ensure proper communication and inventory levels are met. With support of the General Manager, the Inventory Manager will be responsible for sourcing & procurement of all cannabis and non-cannabis related products, maintaining consistent stock of inventory. This role will be required to implement and evolve inventory and menu strategies to maximize sales potential, as well as building and maintaining relationships with wholesale parnters.
Responsibilities:
Purchasing:
- Evaluate inventory reorder levels to determine the most economical purchasing struture.
- Forecast inventory needs by reviewing stock levels and SKU performance.
- Process inventory and follow state regulations to maintain an accurate physical inventory with the CCC and ensure the integrity of the store records.
- Seek and evaluate vendors, drive negotiation of price and quantity and timing of purchases with reliable and trustworthy wholesale suppliers.
- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness while assisting in the development of menu diversity and product consistency.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
- Ensure the purchasing process is simple, streamlined, and efficient.
Operations:
- Responsible for opening and closing the store as needed.
- Work directly with the team to ensure efficient staffing and fulfillment of operational needs.
- Generate sales analytics to measure item performance and communicate financial results.
- Actively contribute to the flow of daily business operations.
- Work with the local Compliance Manager to ensure all inventory issues are handled on a timely basis.
- Follow state guidelines to maintain an accurate physical inventory and ensure the integrity of the store records.
- Responsible for leading initiatives related to inventory and daily operations.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure a proactive approach to inventory needs and to communicate items at risk.
- The Wholesale Inventory Manager acts as a liaison internally between all team members, dispensary management team and the General Manager, and externally between the Dispensing Facility and law enforcement, Commissioner of Health, and the local community.
- Reacts to changes in customer demand and collects feedback from our customers. Applies information as appropriate in buying decisions.
- Conduct exit interviews analyze data and make recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Help to create development and employee training programs, to continuously strengthen the team, and overall guest experience.
- Conduct performance reviews with department managers & monitor employee productivity, attitudes, and performance results.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:

- Ability to use financial metrics to accurately read and diagnose business performance. The ability to use all levers to maximize key performance metric outputs.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of METRC tracking software is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Massachusetts CCC regulations is highly preferred.
Additional Minimum Qualifactions:
- Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.

Inventory and Wholesale Manager
Job Summary
The Inventory and Wholesale Manager is responsible for managing ATG’s wholesale process, with a focus on account management, maintaining adequate product supply at each ATG location, and overall inventory control, while working closely with each retail manager. We are looking for someone that can build strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure a culture of collaboration and mutual success. This position works with marketing and other departments to meet our financial forecast and obtain year-over-year growth. This position reports directly to the VP of Retail Operations.
Key Responsibilities
1.Perform daily, monthly and yearly inventory audits and reconciliations.
Performing inventory audits and reconciliations is perhaps the most critical part of this position. As a cannabis retailer, inventory needs to be reconciled daily to ensure that there are no discrepancies.
2. Keep abreast of cannabis retail trends, as well as coordinate with managers and front-line associates to understand what their customers are buying and what they want to see more of in the stores. This way, ATG can maintain a diverse stock that includes top-selling favorites and standbys as well as new and trending products.
3. Coordinate product orders based on projected needs. Works very closely with wholesale vendors and distributors. This means being able to maintain a working relationship with vendors and deal with any issues or complications that arise. This position requires that you also keep an eye on other potential vendors who may be able to service our business at a better cost, without losing quality.
4. Along with maintaining a diverse selection of products to cater to various customer segments, this position will also oversee our cannabis retail stores’ merchandising strategy (Apparel and accessories)
5. Maintain an organized vault/inventory storage space.
Overall Duties
- Motivate retail managers to meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
