This is an immediate, full-time position for an experienced salesperson that offers a competitive commission structure, room for growth, and a great working environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Researching and qualifying prospects
- Conducting phone calls with potential leads
- Seeking out new business opportunities
- Manage full sales cycle; from prospecting outreach to close
- Establishing and maintaining close relationships with clients and their decision-makers
- Communicate details of client needs to the operations team
- Build relationships with existing clients
- Manage and grow existing business
- Additional projects as assigned by the sales manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, emphasis in Biology or Chemistry preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years solid sales experience with a proven success required; 2-3 years in laboratory equipment preferred.
- Key account management in sales required; laboratory equipment or scientific sales preferred.
- Business-to-business (B2B) experience is preferred.
- Experience with CRM applications
- Strong drive and initiative with the ability to work independently.
- Previous hands-on laboratory experience and working with distributors a plus.
- Some knowledge of the laboratory design and the construction process is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present to customers.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong problem-solving skills, organizational and planning skills are a must and excellent customer service.
- Open to travel i.e. tradeshows, training etc..

Salary plus Commission: $50,000.00 to $150,000.00 /year
