To supervise your team members in the harvest and trim processes ensuring all SOP’s are being followed. Responsible for accurate and efficient break down and wet trimming for scheduled harvested product and any other alternate harvest methods. Critical to following systems that ensure Med and Rec products are accurately labeled and tracked while supervising the efficient workflow through initial Post Harvest processing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Verifying and/or correcting harvest batches to make sure they are correctly labeled by strain, not damaged or infected.

Communicate any discrepancies or quality issues to Senior Manager

Keep team members supplied with product to ensure maximum throughput.

Verify machines are cleaned, serviced and at appropriate settings; monitor & reset as needed between runs/batches.

Carefully follow existing SOP’s and suggest updates as needed.

Problem solving between teams to accommodate unexpected errors or emergency occurrences and update Senior Manager accordingly.

Verify decisions by team members about product disposition and health; while confirming decisions with Manager.

Train team members on strain recognition, disposition and machine operation/maintenance.

Work with Senior Manager to schedule activities for Rec and Med product.

Schedule the needed volume/strain/order/clean to ensure the most efficient process and consistent quality.

Verify tags/strain/license/batch ID.

Providing informal and formal feedback and coaching to your team members.

Coordinate with Senior Manager to ensure harvest process is planned for and executed properly.

Continue to refine the harvest processes to maximize efficiency and improve quality.

Prepare any Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) requirements for your team members to be approved by Senior Manager.

Ensure timesheets are accurate for all of your team members and are approved on time.

Assist employees with navigation of HR portal and Spoke

Required Qualifications

MED Key/Support Badge
-
At least 1-3 years of supervisory experience
-
Observant & detail oriented
-
Ability to do on-the-fly problem solving

Strong communication skills
-
Regular attendance at scheduled hours expected and is considered an essential function necessary for the efficient operation of business
Preferred Qualifications

Previous cannabis experience, specifically in Post-Harvest
-
Metrc knowledge
-
Previous experience maintaining and operating machinery
Physical Requirements

Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.

Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
