Job Description: (Seasonal position for Oct and Nov) The Post-Harvest Trimming and Packaging Technician is responsible for assisting the managers in the day-to-day functions of the packaging, trimming, and harvesting areas, as well as storing finished product, in accordance with all applicable state regulations.
Technicians will be asked to primarily care for plants, trim buds, weigh and package the finished product (in any form), as well as the handling of finished plants during harvest, and the proper disposal of waste. Technicians will also participate in the quality control process, labeling certain strains, batches, and attaching the state required numeric values to certain packaging.
Management reserves the right to assign other job duties as necessary. Daily duties include ensuring that all product information is correct, cohesive, compliant, and ensuring the final product is aesthetically accurate to the visionary standards set forth by the company. Employees should possess good verbal and written communication skills, a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. They will need to have the ability to sit, squat, and kneel repetitively throughout a daily workday. Be able to lift 50lbs up a flight of stairs and be capable of performing manual labor tasks as required in a large-scale grow including going in a lift up tp 20 feet.
