We are looking for multiple individuals to help us harvest and trim our top quality flower in Boulder, CO. All of our trimming and harvesting is done by hand because we believe this is the best way to maintain flower quality for our customers. Duties will include:
Fast and efficient harvesting of plants-
To maintain efficiency and optimal throughput in the grow we need to harvest a full room quickly while maintaining the integrity of the fresh and delicate flower. That means during a harvest all hands are on deck and we are working cooperatively to finish the job in a timely manner. We have to break down the plant, weigh and record each plant, remove fan leaves, label and place each hanger of fresh flower in an organized fashion in our dry room.
Precise and conscientious trimming of dried flower -
Once the flower is dried it needs to be bucked from the stem and placed in curing bags. Once our flower is cured then it is ready to trim. This is where we get to let the natural beauty of this amazing flower shine. You will remove sugar leaves while maintaining the unique flower structure of each strain.
Accurate data entry for compliance -
For compliance and data acquisition and later analysis it is essential that plant product and waste weights are accurately recorded. You are an essential part of that whether you are entering the data your self or keeping your product and waste organized so another team member can weigh and record for you.
Meticulous cleaning and maintenance of your station -
To ensure that the highest quality flower is reaching our customers we must maintain clean tools and a clean working area. All tools must be cleaned before and after use.
Regular and clear communication with supervisors -
We are a team and we will be working together towards a common goal. To do that we need to approach each other with patience and understanding. Clear and friendly communication is critical to achieving that goal.

Position Overview: The Inventory Lead/ Retail Specialist's first priority is to aid in the facility’s secure internal procedures for the receipt, transport, storage, organization, tracking and supply of product inventory. Duties include conducting daily, weekly and monthly inventories; stocking and tracking product in storage and fulfillment areas; and assisting in filing inventory reports and related documentation. Budtending responsibilities include serving customers/patients when purchasing products by exhibiting detailed product knowledge and exemplary customer service.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate with the Inventory Manager to ensure the adequate stocking of product*
- Track and record all inventory movement*
- Maintain accurate reports related to inventory, tracking and control*
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly inventories as instructed by the Inventory Manager*
- Maintain the organization and overall cleanliness of the department and product storage areas*
- Maintain appropriate levels of supplies*
- Alert the Inventory Manager of any product quality concerns*
- Complete product processing projects as assigned, ensuring appropriate quantities, *accurate weights, quality control, and sanitation standards
- Ensure accurate product packaging and labeling that meets all local and state requirements*
- Execute repackaging projects to ensure timeliness, accurate accounting, quality and *presentation
- Act in a Budtender capacity when inventory duties are completed. *
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age*
- High school diploma or GED*
- Valid MED badge worn at all times while in the cannabis space*
- One year or more experience in retail sales and/or inventory control*
- Knowledge of medical cannabis strains and delivery forms*
- Basic computer operating skills including intermediate MS Excel *
- Intermediate math skills*
- Strong desire to serve the medical cannabis community*
- Excellent communication skills*
- Attention to detail, ability to follow complex instructions with precision*
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs., reach arms above head, and stand for up to*
eight hours a day
Preferred Skills/Abilities

Harvest & Trim Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the harvest and trim. They are an integral part of the cultivation department who ensure that the product is tracked accurately and is processed in a timely manner with special attention to meeting Kaya Cannabis’ quality standards. Harvest & Trim Supervisors are expected to monitor the quality of the product and provide the harvest/trim crew with feedback and/or corrections as needed. They must also accurately enter harvest and trim data into multiple platforms.
When harvests and trims are complete, this position will assist the Facility Manager with the maintenance, cleanliness and with working hands on with the plants. Various tasks include general cleaning, washing pots, cleaning trays, transplanting, pruning, etc.
Principle responsibilities include:
- Following all policy, protocol and SOPs set forth by management and in accordance with state laws and regulations
- Setting up the room prior to the harvest/trim with special attention to cleanliness
- Ensuring that all the tools and equipment necessary for the harvest/trim are available
- Weighing plants, finished product and waste in a manner that is efficient and compliant
- Filling out the harvest/trim logs accurately and legibly, then entering data into METRC, POS systems and internal documents
- Sorting product into bud, popcorn, shake and trim and packaging accordingly
- Packaging and labeling product in a neat and organized manner
- Monitoring the bud/trim ratios, bud/popcorn ratios and the overall quality of the trim and providing feedback to the harvest/trim crew accordingly
- Ensuring that Kaya Cannabis’ standards and procedures are being met by the harvest/trim crew
- Having a clear understanding of all aspects of the harvest/trim including cutting, breaking down, de-fanning and hanging the plant during harvest and bucking and trimming the buds during the trimming process
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace throughout the day, at the end of every shift and deep cleaning at the end of every harvest and trim
- Communicating clearly with the Harvest & Trim Director about any issues regarding quality, efficiency, staffing, etc.
- While most of the work will take place at our Boulder production facility occasionally some work will occur in Denver as well.
- After all harvest and trim duties are complete, assisting the facilities manager with various cleaning, organization and cultivation tasks.
Previous experience and other requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous industry experience preferred but not required
- Marijuana Enforcement Division badge or the ability to get one

We are looking for a hard working individual with a good attitude and great attention to detail.
You will be working directly with the Facility Manager to produce high quality cannabis in large quantities on a tight schedule. To do this a facility must be clean and organized. Much of your time will be spent maintaining this standard. Some of these tasks include sweeping, mopping, washing of trays, washing of pots, and general cleaning.
You will also help the Facility Manager by working hands on with the plants. Some of these tasks will be cloning, transplanting, pruning, trellising, harvesting, and the spraying of pesticides.
Ideally you will already have a MED issued badge. However, if you don't already have a badge please don't let that stop you from applying. Previous cannabis experience is NOT required to be successful in this position. We will teach you what you need to know. The most important thing is that you are willing to learn and approach each workday with alacrity.
