Job Responsibilities:
This is a full-time position, with 5 daytime shifts per week, which may include Saturday and/or Sunday shifts and Holidays.
Essential Functions:
Follow all facility and cultivation standard operating procedures.
Perform plant maintenance such as; plant inspections, defoliating, propagation, and sampling.
Support production areas daily or as directed, including: sweep all work areas, sanitize benches, wash down rooms, and prepare new projects.
Regularly sanitize tools, equipment, and pots used in the grow facility to ensure sanitary practices.
Perform accurate data collection to support inventory and projects.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the greenhouse while performing tasks
Being able to work flexible hours as needed
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Competencies:
Organizational skills; cleanliness; precision; knowledge of plant anatomy; ability to record data accurately; ability to sit and focus for long periods of time; manual dexterity
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Experience caring for plants in a commercial setting is preferred.
Previous Cannabis experience not necessary
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in indoor or outdoor agriculture environments in the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, as well as a general office environment.
Standing and/or walking for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks. Bending and lifting repeatedly.
Able to carry up to two 2 gallon pots per hand and one 3 gallon pot per hand when spacing plants. Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy and manipulate machinery.
Available on weekends and holidays
Employment is Contingent on the following:
Ability to work legally in the US
Ability to pass an OSHA respirator fit test if required by OSHA.
A valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit. Candidates with a Worker Permit in hand will be considered with priority, but we are open to the right candidate with a permit application in process.
