Overview:
Purpose
This person develops and implements talent acquisition strategies and practices that support the growth and development of the organization’s production and retail operations in several locations in Colorado. Through consultative collaboration internally and externally, builds talent pipelines to ensure current and future talent needs are met. Focus is on building organizational brand and attracting talented people the entire organization will retain and invest in. Embodies flexibility and resiliency in the face of change.
Essential Duties
Talent Acquisition and Management
- Manage full life-cycle recruiting process using creative sourcing methods for internal and external candidates. Own and partner internally and externally to create and manage an effective employment brand.
- Manage internal careers site and external job boards, associations, and job fairs.
- Works with hiring managers and their teams to define requirements and ensure the recruiting process is fair and consistent and increases the capabilities of the organization one promotion or hire at a time.
- Manage and ensure proper use of multi-faceted Google calendar that organizes the entire company’s interview schedules at the same time.
- Ensure job descriptions, requisitions, postings, interview and selection processes are aligned with organizational/team requirements/specifications.
- Optimize the use of the company’s ATS including testing, problem solving, implementation, development, analytics and reporting, and training.
- Conduct and coordinate qualifications, prescreening, interview schedules, and candidate communications.
- Ensure timely and accurate tracking, analytics, and company reporting with open communication.
- Ensure a seamless hand-off for new employee orientation and onboarding.
Employee Relations and Employee Engagement
- Foster a workplace environment consistent with Delt’s values.
Systems
- Use and manage systems effectively.
- Continually assess, test, and improve all talent acquisition and retention tools.
- Think in terms of operational effectiveness, accessibility, security, and scalability.
Learning and Development
- Develop and conduct training related to networking, recruiting and selection, and onboarding and retention for small and large groups. Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to hiring managers and selection teams.
- Partner with Learning and Development to identify opportunities to provide one-on-one and group training to ensure employees have opportunities for continued growth and development.
- Facilitate and/or deliver training related to recruiting, selection, retention, and systems.
- Deliver processes and procedures embedded in workflows that align with company policies.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Comply with, document workflow and work procedures ensuring that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure process, reporting, and recordkeeping integrity.
- Track and analyze trends and results, maintain recruiting and retention metrics.
Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and managerial direction to clients and client groups.
- Work collaboratively with all Delt’s employees and business partners.
- Foster strong relationships with integral departments including HR, Payroll, L&D, and Marketing.
Project Management
- Develop and manage projects, including defining project scope, resources, and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.
- Manage internal and external small and large scale career or job fairs pertinent to company needs.
- Create logical reports, effective and efficient filing systems, and consistent workflows that are clear and attainable for the entire company.
Other Duties
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervision
- Works under the general supervision of the Senior Director of Human Resources and works closely with the Learning and Development Manager.
- This person does not supervise employees directly.
Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter in a large, distributed, vertically integrated company with production and retail operations.
- Demonstrated results with employment brand creation and social media management.
- Demonstrated results with client development and training-formal training and one-on-one coaching.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication, organization, and coordination/facilitation capabilities.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- Knowledge of various computer systems and applications, particularly MS Office and ATS.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
- Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required.

Working Conditions
- Able to use a computer for extended periods of time.

- Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.
- Regular travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
