Summary:
Wrazel Holdings is currently merging and acquiring other companies to create a much larger, stronger, multi-faceted company that services all corners of the cannabis industry. We started as a crowd-investment platform, but have continually grown to serve more and more of the cannabis space. Our tagline is "The Business of Cannabis", and as of now our companies respectively cover 1. cannabis investment opportunities, 2. industry news publications, 3. a brand development and marketing agency, 4.cannabis media productions, and a few more corners of the space. We've also begun to purchase consumer brands and vertically integrated operations including a dispensary brand. Wrazel Holdings is growing in size, scope, and ambition.
Role:
Wrazel’s president is tasked with providing strong leadership for the company by working with the board, CEO and other executives to establish short and long-term goals, plans and strategies. They are responsible for presiding over the entire workforce and they will manage budgets and make sure resources are allocated properly. The president will make sure departments meet their individual goals and are responsible for overall accountability to shareholders and the general public. They will encourage business investment from the community and act as the public face of the company. In addition, the person in the role of president must have an entrepreneurial mindset and adapt quickly to changes in the marketplace.
Job Duties:
- Oversee budgets, staff and other executives in the organization.
- Work with board members to plan and implement a short-, mid- and long-term strategy for the company.
- Meet with board members and other executives to assess the direction of the company and ensure it is in line with the company's stated mission.
- Encourage business investment, act as a visionary and provide leadership for the company.
- Oversee the complete operation of the company ensuring it operates and goals are met based on the direction established in the strategic plans.
- Acts as the face of the company when dealing with state and local governments and the local community.
Required Characteristics:
- Innovative, with a vision of the future of the company that they can plan, strategize and execute.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate with board members, executives and frontline employees.
- Financial and operational knowledge, as well as knowledge of regulations, policy and procedures that affect the company.
- Ability to attract, develop and retain top talent.
- Have a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire people to action through their influence.
Compensation:
- Cash - $145k
- Equity - available as earned equity, or additional a partnership buy in for the right candidate
- Bonuses - Opportunities during our upcoming funding rounds, upcoming M&As (on both the buy and sell side)
