KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Cooking and preparing edibles

• Maintains and implements standard operating procedures for all products and techniques developed.

• Ensuring that all food items and products are stored, prepared, and served based on the company’s recipe, preparation, and portion standards.

• Perform visual quality inspections on products, minimize waste where possible.

The Hi-line Company is seeking an outgoing and passionate cultivation tech. Responsibilities include day-to-day cultivation tasks that assure our exceptional plants are producing the highest quality flowers possible. This position reports to the Director of Cultivation. You must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under the direction of the Director of Cultivation

• Manually trim marijuana plants using shears, scissors, hands, and machines.

• Clean, feed and fertilize plants

• Maintain all feeding, watering, foliar, and PH logs, reporting and discrepancies or problems immediately

• Check plants daily for evidence of mold or pests and report any findings

• Document daily cultivation activities and report concerns

• Diagnose and resolve plant health issues

• Maintain and clean equipment

• Clean, sterilize and maintain cultivation facility, including some janitorial tasks

The role of the Production Admin supports the Production Manager and Compliance Officer in all aspects of the operation. A successful candidate should be very organized and able to multitask with ease. This position will work in an office and in production and processing, depending on needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Create and print compliance labels and bar codes for pre-rolls, portioned flower, concentrates, vape cartridges, edibles, and tinctures.
• Prepare packaging of consumer-related products.
• Able to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment, willing to work on specific tasks for 8-10 hours per day.
• Weigh out, package and label flower, concentrates, pre-rolls and edibles.
• Fill vape cartridges and pre-rolled joints
• Maintain a clean and safe production facility.
• Fill wholesale orders as needed.
• Assist with research and development projects as necessary.
• Perform other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
• Secretarial tasks including answering emails, phone calls, and scheduling meetings
• Complete the sanitation of production equipment and tools including workspace, production and packaging equipment, cookware, and appliances.

The Director of Retail Operations at The Hi-Line Company is responsible for profitably growing dispensary revenue, developing dispensary objectives, and ensuring our customers receive consistent and exceptional service every visit. We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to enhance our customer experience, provide solid leadership to our retail teams, maximize revenue, and meet our future growth plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Provides strategic direction and thought leadership to the retail organization, with a strong understanding of the brand, market and patient needs, as well as anticipating future needs.
• Performs a significant role in defining objectives, strategies and plans, and working with cross-functional partners (Manufacturing, Marketing, inventory/planning, finance, advocacy, etc.) to implement those plans.
• Maximizes and regularly reports on retail productivity, sales and profit, while ensuring that standards of service excellence are continuously met and improved upon.
• Responsible for building both strategic and tactical activities for dispensaries. Ensures optimum performance of the retail stores. Recommends and implements techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, enhance patient experience, and maintain best in class practices.
• Identifies trends and opportunities to define changes in process and procedures that drive operations and selling agendas. Proactively collects customer feedback and uses that feedback to implement new product offerings.
• Ensures a world-class experience exists for our patients. Understands and remains current on market demand for product offerings, and ensures dispensary teams are trained to meet patient needs.
• In conjunction with the procurement department, establish relationships with vendors to enhance product offerings, promotions and pricing.
• Creates an environment in which a personal, customer-focused, and service-oriented mentality is standard. A critical element of the role will be to ensure that the environment and patient experience reflect the company’s vision and values
• Interacts closely with the compliance team to ensure all dispensaries and personnel are in compliance with State regulations, in all operations, processes, inventory management and protocol.
• Continuously improves operational performance in the business while considering consistency in operational processes, and the needs of the organization.
• Drives and influences productivity and cost saving opportunities in all operational components.
• Partners with internal teams to ensure product and store allocations provide a cohesive strategy and brand experience to drive sales revenue opportunities.
• Cross functionally collaborates on product design, development, packaging and other channels to ensure the product meets the needs of the stores and continues to drive overall brand strategies.
• Develops training and reinforces service, product, operations and management expectations through training and development of store teams.
• Maintains a presence in the field in order to effectively coach and support dispensary teams. Ensures operational priorities, processes and procedures are communicated, understood and executed consistently across all locations.
• Manages relationships with state regulators. Ensures all locations are in compliance with state regulations.

The Director of Retail Operations at The Hi-Line Company is responsible for profitably growing dispensary revenue, developing dispensary objectives, and ensuring our customers receive consistent and exceptional service every visit. We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to enhance our customer experience, provide solid leadership to our retail teams, maximize revenue, and meet our future growth plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Provides strategic direction and thought leadership to the retail organization, with a strong understanding of the brand, market and patient needs, as well as anticipating future needs.
• Performs a significant role in defining objectives, strategies and plans, and working with cross-functional partners (Manufacturing, Marketing, inventory/planning, finance, advocacy, etc.) to implement those plans.
• Maximizes and regularly reports on retail productivity, sales and profit, while ensuring that standards of service excellence are continuously met and improved upon.
• Responsible for building both strategic and tactical activities for dispensaries. Ensures optimum performance of the retail stores. Recommends and implements techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, enhance patient experience, and maintain best in class practices.
• Identifies trends and opportunities to define changes in process and procedures that drive operations and selling agendas. Proactively collects customer feedback and uses that feedback to implement new product offerings.
• Ensures a world-class experience exists for our patients. Understands and remains current on market demand for product offerings, and ensures dispensary teams are trained to meet patient needs.
• In conjunction with the procurement department, establish relationships with vendors to enhance product offerings, promotions and pricing.
• Creates an environment in which a personal, customer-focused, and service-oriented mentality is standard. A critical element of the role will be to ensure that the environment and patient experience reflect the company’s vision and values
• Interacts closely with the compliance team to ensure all dispensaries and personnel are in compliance with State regulations, in all operations, processes, inventory management and protocol.
• Continuously improves operational performance in the business while considering consistency in operational processes, and the needs of the organization.
• Drives and influences productivity and cost saving opportunities in all operational components.
• Partners with internal teams to ensure product and store allocations provide a cohesive strategy and brand experience to drive sales revenue opportunities.
• Cross functionally collaborates on product design, development, packaging and other channels to ensure the product meets the needs of the stores and continues to drive overall brand strategies.
• Develops training and reinforces service, product, operations and management expectations through training and development of store teams.
• Maintains a presence in the field in order to effectively coach and support dispensary teams. Ensures operational priorities, processes and procedures are communicated, understood and executed consistently across all locations.
• Manages relationships with state regulators. Ensures all locations are in compliance with state regulations.
• Maintains a strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Sales and operations leader with at least 5 years’ retail store sales, operations, and leadership experience in a high volume retail environment ideally within a multi-store environment with responsibility for driving revenue and leading multiple locations.
• Experienced in leading strategy and execution of retail operations functions.
• Strong personnel management and retail operations knowledge, including inventory control, loss prevention, retail POS systems, merchandising, customer service and budget preparation.
• Solid business and financial acumen and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated track record in driving revenue and increasing store productivity.
• A high-touch, credible, visible leader who could establish instant credibility and inspire the team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent people and organizational skills.
• Team player with the ability to gain consensus through collaboration and open dialogue.
• A sense of urgency, high energy, and hands-on approach.
• Prior cannabis experience a plus
• Frequent travel within Montana is required
• Available to work 40 hours per week; including weekends
