The Medical Professional at Solevo Wellness will serve as the initial point of contact for new patients. A Medical Professional at Solevo Wellness is someone who provides the initial consultation with new patients, reviewing the patient’s health history and providing guidance/recommendations regarding the use of medical marijuana. This role serves as the healthcare expert for the team, while also providing excellent customer service throughout interactions with patients. Due to the highly regulated nature of the medical marijuana industry, this role will also include certain responsibilities that are mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Health for Solevo Wellness to remain in compliance.
Responsibilities
Medical Professional are expected to manage their individual workflow and efficiently see new patients in a timely manner. Responsibilities should be completed by using all available and provided resources, including other team members. Below is the list of expectations a Medical Professional is responsible for:
1) Remain on site at each location during hours of operation
2) Consult with new patients in a timely manner
3) Verify an active DOH certification for each Solevo patient upon every visit to the dispensary at the location the pharmacist is staffing that day
4) Consult with returning patients who request follow-up visits with a pharmacist
5) Assist with verifying the certifications of returning patients at other locations
6) Additional tasks may be assigned by the Pharmacy Director or General Manager individually depending on dispensary needs

performing Patient Intake, confirming Patient Status, and providing overview and orientation
materials.
The Receptionist is responsible for:
- Greeting and verifying all Patients and Designated Caregivers;
- Providing information regarding the Facility and its services, as well as information on
Medical Marijuana Products, and the laws and regulations governing the use of Medical
Marijuana in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania;
- Ensuring all Patients, Caregivers, and Visitors are checked in and out into the Electronic
Verification System;
- Answering the phone, take messages, and direct incoming calls to the correct individual;
- Receiving all mail and non-Medical Marijuana-related packages;
- Maintaining the cleanliness and needs of the Waiting/Lobby Area; and
- Maintaining an accurate online Patient database, to include organizing paperwork, data
entry, scanning, printing, and faxing documents.
Performance Requirements and Skills:
- Ability to operate Patient Management Software;
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with co-workers and
Patients;
- Has knowledge of Medical Marijuana laws, Medical Marijuana effects, and conditions that
can be treated through the use of Medical Marijuana;
- Must be organized and Patient;
- Knowledge of email, web search engines, Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Ability to work under pressure without losing his or her composure;
- Ability to meet the needs of Patients and co-workers without constant supervision;
- Ability to solve practical problems;
- Ability to use general office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and fax machines;
- Ability to multi-task with many diverse types of workloads in a hectic environment;
- Maintain a good memory; and
- Maintain a warm and friendly personality.
Must have either dispensary experience, or medical background and a flexible schedule.
