Simply Pure is looking for an experienced lead grower! The Lead Grower will be directly responsible for the maintenance and daily cultivation procedures for designated grow facilitates for the company. The position is labor heavy and intense and includes all cultivation tasks associated with the company’s procedures.
Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and sanitized environment for the plants.
- Responsible for the daily cultivation and maintenance of cannabis throughout all life cycles, cloning, vegetative, flowering, and harvesting.
- Meet daily with grow manager.
- Report all concerns directly to grow managers.
- Provide weekly supplies list to grow manager.
- Responsible for pesticide spraying of plants and training employees.
- Responsible for all nutrients mixing, grow and feeding charts in the cultivation area.
- Responsible for teaching all growers the proper tasks, i.e., potting, pruning, watering, maintenance, topping, staking, etc.
- Maintaining, recording, and reviewing all reporting charts in each grow room.
- Make sure all equipment is running properly, and if not, notify the Grow Manager immediately.
- Being available for inspectors, contractors, and tour visits.
- Being available to assist with any random task or endeavors at all times.
Qualifications
- 2 Years of experience in the cannabis industry.
- Knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics
- Knowledge of growing processes and grow equipment.
- Knowledge of pest control, fungus control, plant disease control, and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to communicate with all employees.
- Extremely clean and organized.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have a vehicle
- Must have Colorado Key Badge
