We have a caregiver storefront in need of a manager. This is a small, self-contained storefront and the manager will be mostly managing themselves, but another employee may be added in the summer months. Basic tasks include taking great care of our customers — taking time to learn as much about each individual customer as possible so we can provide personalized care. It is very important that this person is extremely reliable with showing up to work, managing inventory and keeping up to date on re-ordering products, etc. Manager will be responsible for packaging a majority of flower products on their own during their down time. This is a position that can grow in to a much larger, higher paying position in the future as we are expanding our services into bigger, higher demand retail locations in the coming months.
Key Tasks:
- Own your store’s overall business to drive efficiency and grow sales
- Manage, supervise and direct the activities of the retail team
- Regularly run financial and operational reports to ensure optimal efficiency and financial performance
- Assists in creating budgets and sales forecasts. Participate in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Enforce policies and ensure that staff follows best practices.
- Oversee and manage product inventory and compliance records.
- Ensure the retail environment remains compliant with security, inventory and local and state regulations.
- Manage financial records and cash handling procedures.
- Manage and inspire team to deliver the highest level of customer experience.
- Assess the competition; leverage customer insights and feedback to drive the business and be the store of choice for our customers
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of both the customers and employees
- Promote sales, service, and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them.
- Serve as a liaison to the local community as well as regulatory agencies.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge.
- Review performance of retail employees on a regular basis.
- Oversee all hiring, discipline, termination or advancement of employees.
- Ensure team communication
- Coach, develop and maximize the success of all employees.
- Analyze business and create action plans to achieve store goals.
- Become an expert in all cannabis state-specific rules, regulations and laws. Execute and enforce compliance in the retail environment.
- Oversee receipt of wholesale and internal product deliveries.
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently

- Must possess proficient English skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge and Abilities:

- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to cannabis operations.

- Demonstrated reliability, dependability and flexibility in work habits.
- Possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and similar Google based programs (i.e. Sheets).
- Ability to research and understand regulations for particular cannabis retail markets.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma required; some college preferred
- 3+ years of retail or customer service experience required
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift or carry up to thirty (30) pounds.
- Ability to function in an environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to deliver quality results under high pressure deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $40,320.00 per year
