Cannabis jobs at RSR Analytical Laboratories

Description: A chemist who will perform state required marijuana testing on cannabis samples and other matrices. Will be trained to utilize various microbial equipment within the lab, to perform QC testing within compliance to state regulations, and perform sample preparation, data review, analysis and entry. Candidates must be familiar with working in a GLP environment and familiar with ISO 17025.

Job Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age (in accordance with state law)

Must be able to work safely with chemicals, hazardous materials, and biological cultures.

Familiar with working in a lab setting abiding by ISO 17025 requirements and display GLP.

Knowledge of chemical/physical principles, theories, and established methodologies to perform a full range of duties involved in conducting research projects.

Chemist must have a BS in chemistry or closely related discipline.

Experience with HPLC, HS-GC/MS, ICP-MS, GC-ECD, UPLC-MS/MS is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Lab Technician--Microbiology:

Job Requirements:

• At least 21 years old in accordance to state law
• Must be able to work safely and carefully with chemicals, hazardous materials, and biological cultures. Hazardous materials include, but are not limited to: hydrogen peroxide, bleach, flammable reagents, and biological samples (Bacteria, Salmonella, E. Coli, and Yeast/Mold etc.)
• Must be able to work and maintain a clean, sterile, and safe environment utilizing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, lab coats, gloves, procedure masks, hair nets, and foot coverings
• Familiar with working in a laboratory setting abiding by ISO 17025 requirements and display GLP
• Organized and detail orientated individual whom is comfortable multi-tasking
• Knowledge of microbial/chemical/physical principles, theories, and established methodologies enough to perform the full range of duties involved in conducting research projects
• Lab Technician must have a BS in Microbiology/Biology/Chemistry or closely related discipline with 1 years laboratory working experiences
• Must be able to lift 20lbs at a time
• Must be able to work on weekends if needed

Job Duties:

• Perform state required marijuana microbial testing on cannabis samples and other matrices
• Perform quality control testing for plant and extracts in a GLP environment
• Comply to quality management system and ensure compliance with ISO 17025
• Follow the standard operating procedures for testing cannabis
• Maintenance various equipment within the laboratory
• Maintain chain of custody

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
