JOB DESCRIPTION
Report to: Store Manager
Assistant Store Manager
Direct Supervision of: Co-Associates
Responsibilities:
· Day-to-Day operations within the store based on the Retail Sales Associate Training Checklist and Retail Sales Associate Training Guide, and in accordance with RMH Standard Operating Procedures and Policies, including but not limited to:
o Opening & Closing Procedures
o Customer Reception & ID Checking Procedure
o Visitor Sign-In Procedure
o Making Sales (Customer/Patient Education, Understanding The Rocky Mountain High Peak Experience Sales Process, recommending solutions and new products)
o Accurate Cash-Handling, Sales Transactions, and Debit Transactions
o Processing Online Orders
o Daily Deals, Happy Hour, and special promotions
o Check Mail, Email, and Voicemail
o Morning Report and EOD Report
· Ensure Store Cleanliness and Appearance (as well as COVID-19 Policy and Procedures)
· Basic Inventory (e.g. FIFO, Receiving, Restocking, Safe Tracking, METRC Tags)
· Utilizing Functions of the Point-of-Sale (POS) and Inventory Tracking System (METRC)
· In-House Marketing
o Visual Merchandising, Daily Menus, Using Canva and Avery
o Weedmaps, and Cannasaver updates
o Functions/Promotion of RMH Loyalty Program
· Understanding Basic Compliance (e.g. transfer and dosage limits, wearing valid MED badge)
· Adhere to RMH Policies and Procedures
· Taking initiative; prioritizing tasks during downtime
· Communicate any questions, comments, or concerns immediately to the Store Manager or ASM.

· Mastery of the Inventory Tracking System (METRC) and the Point-of-Sale System
· Mastery of Inventory (Product Management, Audits, Investigations, Reconciliation, and Waste)
· Product Ordering (Third-Party, Accessories, Apparel, and Supplies)
· Transfers: Outgoing, Incoming, Receiving & Processing
· Confirming Payroll and Hours
· Accurate Reporting of Sales, Deposits, Employee Performance, Incidents, and Compliance
· Effective Employee Training (sales, marketing, and operations)
· Effective Employee Management (scheduling, employee accountability, one-on-one’s, feedback)
· Effective Employee Documentation (e.g. HR-related issues, shift accountability, performance evaluations)
· Recruiting, Retention, and Termination of employees
· Sales Process (e.g. pricing and deals structure, upselling, effective customer flow management)
· Point-of-Sale Functions (inventory, products, pricing, coupon/discount management)
· Marketing (online ordering, event planning, promotions, visual merchandising)
· Advanced Compliance Knowledge (e.g. cameras, business records, METRC, Local Laws and Regulations, Packaging and Labeling, Transfer and Dosage Limits, Sales Compliance, RVT Cert.)
· Knowledge of Security Protocols, Cameras, and Codes
· Communicate effectively with employees, Regional Management, and with other departments
