We are looking for an enthusiastic Telemarketer to generate sales appointments for an accounting firm that has been very successful. We assist our clients with COVID related refunds/credits that are in addition to the PPP loans most businesses have already obtained. A successful telemarketer must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will be patient and cool-tempered to deal with rejection. The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele.
Responsibilities
- Cold call people using a given phone directory to setup appointments for companies who are interested purchasing cannabis accounting, tax and cfo services.
- Use scripts to provide information about service features and present their benefits
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
- Talk with the potential client to persuade them to setup a meeting with our Sales team to discuss the benefits of having an experienced cannabis-only accounting team.
- Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
Skills
- Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in English
- Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection
- High school diploma; BSc/Ba is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Supplemental Pay:
