The position: Dispensary Customer Service Representative
- Greet and establish rapport with customers— get to know them and seek to understand their interest in cannabis medicine
- Engage with and educate patients about medicinal properties of cannabis, answer their questions and help them make a choice that is most appropriate for their condition.
- Educate patients on methods of use.
- Accurately operate company’s POS system. Comply with company’s cash handling procedures.
- Strictly comply with all state regulations pertaining to medical cannabis.
- Maintain store cleanliness.
- Perform clerical tasks including accurate filing, compiling, and maintaining inventory and records
- Gather and process required patient documents and information, and perform detailed verification while maintaining client confidentiality.
- Continue to enhance your knowledge of medical cannabis, and continually hone your ability to explain and recommend treatment procedures and product uses.
General Qualifications:
- 21 years of age.
- Strong work ethics.
- Quick learner. Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
- Self motivated, self starter and passionate about cannabis.
- Positive and friendly attitude. Ability to handle pressure especially during busy times.
- Computer skills are a must.
- Ability to accurately count currency and maintain inventory records.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Proven record of exemplary customer service skills.
- Basic Cannabis knowledge: Medicinal properties, strains, method of consumption, regulations.
- Ability to work while standing for extended period of time.
- Must have reliable transportation. Must be punctual.
- Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to follow directions and willingness to take on additional duties as needed.

JOB SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Specialist I executes product manufacturing operations within a cannabis extraction and product manufacturing operation. They are primarily responsible for building consumer packaged goods and fulfilling supply demands. Duties include product formulations, packaging, inventory control, and distribution fulfillment. They work closely with the Operations Supervisor and Quality Analyst to ensure operations are executing according to the production schedules and Quality Assurance Program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that all activities are performed safely and in strict accordance with company guidelines; maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
- Produces products to consistent standards and quality, dictated by quality assurance program and consistent with company goals.
- Manages manufacturing schedules and equipment needs, expediting goods on prioritized stock generations.
- Provides weekly reports to Operations Supervisor on turnaround time, just in time delivery system, downtime, production efficiencies, opportunities for improvement (OFI’s), and any other KPIs management requests.
- Supervises personnel related to the manufacturing department to ensure productivity, safety, compliance, and positive company culture.
- Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service when needed.
- Maintain inventory of finished goods, generates reports of inventory aging where appropriate.
- Upholds inventory of consumables and ingredients for production, submitting purchase requests when applicable.
- Assists in compliant packaging and labeling of products according to strict regulatory requirements, working directly with the Quality Analyst.
- Maintains complete records in the inventory management systems of all production batches.
- Collects all hazardous/non-hazardous waste generated by production processes and transfers to appropriate collection areas.
- Collaborates with team on edits/updates to procedures and operational documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years in a production, operations, or manufacturing role (or similar experience).
- 2+ years of direct supervisory experience of team of 3 or more individuals recommended.
- Certification, or related degree in manufacturing, engineering, or food production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Responsive problem solver and action oriented.
- Strong team mentality.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Highly organized.
- Must pass an extensive background security check and must be able to obtain a local authority badge – prior to or at the time of hire.
- Possesses a proud work-ethic and enthusiasm to help grow the company culture.

JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Specialist I is responsible for, but not limited to, commencing of operations at a start-up cannabis processing facility, processing and operational scheduling to meet supply demands, executing unit operations in areas primarily in processing and purification of concentrated plant extracts, and supervision of the quality control, manufacturing, and packaging functions of the operation. They will work closely with the General Manager of the facility and the Xabis team to meet ongoing operational growth and team goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all activities are performed safely and in strict accordance with company guidelines; maintains product and company reputation by complying with governing regulations.
- Manages all operational activities, including planning and scheduling for production runs, accounting for material availability, orders, and employee scheduling; reports and documents daily production activities.
- Ensures operations are functional. This includes making sure equipment maintenance is scheduled and performed, inventories are properly managed, and downtime is minimized.
- Oversees all quality control (QC) activities and reporting for materials, bulk intermediates, and finished products; this includes inventory verification using multiple database systems and inventory resupplying.
- Maintains positive communications with local client, vendors and service providers.
- Supervises team of 3-5 employees on pilot scale production process to ensure safe and compliant operations.
- Keeps operations clean by collecting, disposing of, and logging all hazardous and non-hazardous waste; cleaning of all processing equipment and the manufacturing facility; maintenance of glassware cleaning process.
- Maintains meticulous records for all production steps.
- Provides general backup for employees to ensure production continuity; they will be trained in all aspects of the facility operations.
- Assists in scheduling maintenance and repair activities for production equipment and instrumentation.
- Revises operating procedures and supporting documentation to reflect optimized operational changes; writes technical documents (protocols, manuals, SOPs, white papers, etc.).
- Aides in the hiring and training of site employees; develops site relevant training materials and programs.
- Comprehends and adheres to the regulations surrounding operations, including facility needs, SOP needs, labeling and testing requirements and communicates important summaries to team as needed; stays current on regulatory changes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must hold a BS/BA degree in engineering or related field. Knowledge of engineering and physical sciences necessary.
- 2+ years in a production, operations, or manufacturing role (or similar experience).
- Experience managing or operating mechanical/chemical systems and processes (reactors, machine tools, control systems, etc.).
- Management experience of a production team a requirement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Responsive problem solver and action oriented.
- Strong team mentality.
- Proficient using PCs and common applications.
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry.
- Possesses a proud work-ethic and enthusiasm to help grow the company culture.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus.
- Experience with ISO17025, CLIA or similar certification process a plus.
- Must pass an extensive background security check and must be able to obtain a local authority badge – prior to or at the time of hire.
