We are seeking two individuals who pay great attention to help package small products quickly on an assembly line. Must be a fast-paced worker who can work in a fast-paced environment and who is excellent at executing tasks. Quality control and package inspection is also a critical task of this position.
We are looking for positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic individuals with strict attention to detail, and a pleasant demeanor. A quality, dependable person with a strong work ethic and a teamwork approach is required.
Tasks:
- Prepare products for packaging
- Place appropriate labels on products
- Place products in appropriate packaging with required labels.
- Pack, weigh and label completed items for shipment or storage
- Meet established packaging timelines
- Quality Assurance standards must be maintained
- Products must be stored according to Lot # and inventory levels must be up-to-date
- Other tasks maybe required as needed assigned by the department supervisor
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with repetitive tasks
- Ability to frequently bend, push / pull, reach and periodically lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Position Description:
The Lab Production Specialist works with the Lab Manager to compound and assist in product development per company specifications. They will work with laboratory equipment making tinctures, topicals, capsules, etc. Efficiency and attention to detail are paramount.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all types of formulas accurately and in compliance with master formula worksheets
- Weigh ingredients correctly and process them following the provided formula worksheet specifications and SOPs
- Closely monitor the daily production schedule
- Assist Lab Manager with Research and Development
- Must be willing to personally consume product samples to test quality and product properties (flavor, effect, etc.)
- Work to create a variety of products on a large scale, must be comfortable with repetitive tasks.
- Responsible for daily cleaning and logs in accordance with established policy
- Perform frequent testing to confirm that all equipment is working well, including capsule machines, pumps, balances, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be technically inclined and have the ability to operate precision machinery, noticing subtle changes in mechanical operation to safeguard product quality and consistency.
- Must have basic lab skills using balances, vacuum ovens, hot plates, dissolving solids, pouring solvents, etc.
- Must have basic chemistry/physics knowledge, solubility, pressure, density, etc.
- Must be proficient in computer usage (especially in Excel) and mathematics (basic algebra).
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or similar field is preferred, however, a combination of experience and / or education will be considered.
- Two years + experience working as a compounding technician or similar job required
- Knowledge of pharmacology and biochemical mechanisms is a plus.
- Knowledge of human physiology, drug metabolism, cellular biology, is a plus.
Salary range DOE: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

POSITION:
· Photographer / Multimedia Creator / Graphic Designer
· Fill-Time in-house marketing team
· Occasional scheduled off-site photo-shoots.
The Fairwinds Graphic Designer must have proven experience with print design/layout, photography, and multi-media. They must be a fast-paced worker who can work in a fast-paced environment and excellent at executing tasks to meet scope and deadlines.
They should have their finger on the pulse of current market trends, consumer preferences and have strong conceptual design skills.
Our Graphic Design function consists of 3 primary areas:
1. Product/Packaging/Sales-Asset design: The candidate will collaborate in designing and produce visual solutions for product packaging and sales assets such as box design, logo creation, brand identity, stickers, sales sheets, and email blasts.
2. Mechanical pre-press work: Prior to printing/production of packaging, candidate will manage pre-press layout for contractors, create and edit die-lines, maintain proper file markup such as pantone call-outs.
3. Multimedia Assets: Candidate may collaborate in the creation of multimedia campaign assets including: photographs, literature, catalogs, brochures, logos, advertisements, packaging, website and social media posts.
We are looking for well-rounded designers with multiple skills listed above, but do not expect that any candidate be proficient in all areas. The candidate should communicate well and work methodically as part of a team. The goal is to inspire and attract our target audience. They must have a strong passion / interest in the medicinal Cannabis industry and for helping others.
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide feedback and collaborate with the marketing team… contributing to the direction of in-house brands.
· Product Photo-shoots (studio)
· Lifestyle & product shoots (location)
· Assist in the creation of social media assets:
o Instagram wall, reels, stories etc.
· Assist in the creation of Website assets:
o Photos, videos, etc.
· Works with design team to create and maintain company brand and marketing material
· Exercises creativity to develop concepts and themes that will be applied to a wide range of corporate marketing materials and initiatives
· Incorporates expertise in designing a wide range of media including use of color, typography, photography, original illustration, technical drawings, desktop publishing and computer aided design software
· Creates and executes graphic designs for a variety of marketing, promotional packaging and advertising material
· Assists with/Develops website and social media content; produces graphical components and layouts for the company’s website, social media channels
· Responds to input and changes to project parameters by developing alternative designs while maintaining concept and brand continuity

IDEAL CANDIDATES:
· In-Studio & Location Photography Skills.

· Able to continually monitor industry trends and actively learning about new markets trends and products within those markets

· Thorough knowledge of advertising media including print, broadcast, electronic, social media, point of sale, and packaging
· Excellent written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills. Ability to clearly communicate the logic behind ideas and concepts. Ability to receive, analyze and execute on feedback.
· Web or video editing experience a plus
· Proven success of handling multiple priorities in changing environments and ability to quickly adapt
