Seeking a physician with experience in pain management, including medication management, injury evaluation, treatment options in a multi-modal practice setting, and familiarity with comprehensive treatment planning for chronic pain patients.
Primary role is to provide leadership and guidance for licensed Nurse Practitioners, to assist with new patient examinations, primarily related to personal injury and Worker's Compensation cases, provide detailed evaluation documentation and follow up, and to assist the rapidly growing practice in integrating additional options for patients to work toward wellness.
Our practice is focused on comprehensive pain management utilizing a multi-modal approach, and on teaching patients self-efficacy in dealing with chronic pain. We utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, opioid and non-opioid medications, CBD and medical cannabis, neurocognitive testing, physical therapy, chiropractic care, and interventional procedures. We are in the process of expanding our weight loss options for patients for whom weight is a comorbidity of their chronic pain, and are developing a ketamine protocol to assist with reducing patient opioid loads, as well as controlling anxiety and depression related to their condition.
