We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, actively seek new sales opportunities, merchandise current customers and participate in pop-ups and promotions. Account Managers answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers and look for prospective clients. As an Account Manager for Locol Love, you will be serving as our primary contact for our retail customers in your assigned territory and play a critical role as a bridge to our Operations and Distribution teams. If you are familiar with account management software (CRM), have a flair for client communication and understand consumer behavior, then we would like to welcome you to the Locol Love Family! Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our sales team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products in the long-run.
Responsibilities
- Set up meetings with dispensary purchasing managers via cold-calling, email, and social media outreach
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Maintain regular communication with customers on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis
- Prospect new accounts using state and local licensing databases, social media, and other online tools
- Visit dispensaries daily to drop off samples, get customer feedback, merchandise product, and make sales presentations/trainings
- Educate prospects on what products best suit their needs
- Follow-up with prospective accounts to make sure you are capitalizing on all interactions
- Participate in pop-ups, budtender education events, hosted company parties, networking mixers, and other events on a regular basis. You are the face of the company in the field.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely, efficient and professional manner
- Maintain expert-level knowledge on our full product catalog as well as the latest trends in the cannabis industry
- Relay feedback from customers to the management, marketing, product and operations teams on a regular basis
- Get involved with the rest of the Locol Love family in the facilities
- Maintain customer databases and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate in the CRM software.
- Confirm order details with clients to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitor the status of deliveries and staying in regular communication with clients, account management, and fulfillment staff to ensure deadlines are met
- Travel to dispensaries in your territory will be required
Skills/Requirements
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, Sales Representative, or Territory Manager.
- Prior experience in the marijuana industry
- Active MED Badge
- Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license, a reliable vehicle licensed in CO, and insurance
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and DMV driving record check prior to employment
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Solid experience with CRM software, Leaflink, and Google Suite.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, including a patient attitude, a friendly disposition, and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
