Overview

We are a cannabis and wellness medication manufacturing company that is looking for an experienced production lead to join our growing team!

This position will oversee production operations and ensure quality standards are met for each product. The ideal candidate must have previous leadership experience, knowledge of the cannabis industry, strong attention to detail, experience with both manual and automatic processes, as well as strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Duties

The production lead is responsible for the production of products in a variety of formats. Including, but not limited to manufacturing, packaging, shipping, and inventory management. Additional responsibilities include, ensuring that quality and sanitation standards are met, as well as maintaining accurate records on every product. This position requires an individual who can work independently with minimal supervision or oversight while working under tight deadlines.

Detailed job duties include:

• Lead the production team in identifying and managing all aspects of product development, including but not limited to: production planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality control and inventory management.
• Analyze fulfillment needs for products by reviewing requirements and making recommendations on improvements that may be necessary.
• Perform daily kitchen inspections.
• Provide technical support with project schedules and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Maintain accurate records regarding work orders and product tracking. METRC experience is a plus.
• Review production orders.
• Raw and Packaging inventory.
• Monitor equipment performance against company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a production lead with an emphasis on cannabis/manufacturing and/or industrial automation
• The ability to manage multiple projects at one time while still achieving deadlines
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) required
• 21+ or older
• High school diploma or GED

Nature's Key, one of the State's largest cannabis edibles manufacturers, is looking to hire at least two Production Employees. This position will be trained alongside our day shift and transition into our night shift as a secondary production schedule.
