Inside Sales Representative
Find, develop, and grow new business accounts including growing existing revenue streams, supporting Field Sales Representatives, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be a proactive, contributing member of the sales team, help target and close deals.
- Engage with potential new customers through cold calls, emails and leads in Hubspot.
- Provide excellent customer service by following through with prompt solutions to all customer inquiries.
- Effectively work and communicate with the sales team, marketing and other departments.
- Rigorously document communications and keep up to date the customer relationship management.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound phone cold calls and emails.
- Generate new leads for sales reps with growers, cannabis testing labs and large industrial cultivators.
- Proactively research new state licenses /Regulations and other potential grows / opportunities.
- Develop and propose bi-annual business plans for the territory, focusing on quarterly and annual sales objectives in accordance with overall Sales and Marketing plans.
- Locate new potential customers via prospecting, cold calling and setting up appointments with key decision makers.
- Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc.
- Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals generated through marketing activities.
- Attend conferences, trade shows and seminars as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

We are looking for an Customer Support Specialist
Primary Function: Front line customer support for all inbound customer sales and service inquiries as well as sales order management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all inbound customer service inquiries and direct calls/emails/chats to the appropriate team or individual
- Manage all inbound orders including their review and approval
- Maintain direct contact with all customers and build relationships with key accounts
- Support the sales team (territory managers)
- Effectively work and communicate with sales team, marketing and other departments.
- Coordinate with shipping and operations teams regarding order status, shipping dates, product availability and back orders and communicate appropriate information to customers
- When needed, investigate problems related to shipment of products, credits and new orders.
- Rigorously document communications in CRM
- Keep customer records up to date in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning software)
- Help maintain CRM (Customer Resource Management database)
- Help Operations team maintain content on the webstore
Experience
- Previous customer service or customer support experience
- Previous experience in customer support at a biotech or life science company
- Good communication skills for phone support and call handling
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with different departments
- Flexibility / Adaptability to learn about new product lines
- Previous experience with ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
- Previous experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or Hubspot

Responsibilities
- Experience with PCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR (Agilent Aria and BioRad instruments a plus)
- DNA/RNA purification methods using SPRI based techniques
- Experience with microbiology culturing techniques
- Experience designing and multiplexing TaqMan qPCR assays
- Experience with operating and interpreting data from various qPCR platforms
- Experience designing experiments and independently executing experimental plans
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience with NGS library construction a plus
- Excellent pipetting skills are needed
Experience Required
- BS or MS level with at least 5 years previous experience in an R&D setting.
