POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Territory Sales Representative to join one of our client's team. This position will be responsible for the development of new accounts and implementation of account-specific, sales strategies in order to achieve territory sales growth in accordance with company revenue objectives. The ideal candidate has a “Hunter” sales mentality, is goal driven and self-motivated, energetic, and enjoys a competitive ever-changing marketplace.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driving sales revenue and market share by managing a defined group of cannabis supply chain businesses.
- Develops and sustains strong professional relationships with prospective clients while maintaining existing client relationships
- Represent the company and its products with high character, integrity, and professionalism
- Perform all sales activities to ensure all KPI’s are achieved
- Prospect new clients based on market research
- Prepare proposals and presentations.
- Travel to service areas to represent the company and achieve the assigned goal
- Maintain a professional company image at all times
- Strives to seek new business opportunities within the territory
- Cold call to set appointments with new prospects
- Monitor market conditions in relation to competitors
- Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually).
- Cross-sell products, when appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Associate Degree OR Equivalent Work Experience,
RIGHT TO WORK: Must have legal right to work in the USA.
COMPETENCIES
- 3+ years of successful sales proven background
- 1 year of Cannabis sales experience preferred
- Must be highly self-motivated and results-drive
- Great persuasive and negotiation skills
- Able to travel frequently as required of the job
- Willing to do whatever it takes to be successful in a highly competitive market
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, presentation skills and quantitative abilities.
- Strong customer service and rapport
- Has reliable transportation.
- Portray professional presence through superior communication, presentation, promptness, and appearance.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Positive attitude and demeanor
- High integrity and sense of accountability.
