Job Summary: Candidate will work closely with the grow team to ensure the health, and consistency of care for each cannabis plant on a commercial scale.
Duties:
Candidate will assume all normal responsibilities of a grower including:
Preparing rooms to be populated with plants
Mixing Nutrients
Watering plants
Monitoring climate
Keeping tools grow areas clean and sterile
Pruning
Installing trellis nets
Monitoring light intensity
Tagging/tracking plants
Maintain log of PH, PPM, IPM, and any other condition as required by the head grower.
Application of pesticides, fungicides, bactericides, etc.
Report any anomalies to head grower immediately
It is a major role of the candidate to make sure a strict schedule is adhered to as laid out by the head grower and cultivation manager. Schedule includes specific deadlines and dates for changes in light length and intensity, nutrient recipes, and climate as well as foliar and root drench applications.
Having a home garden of any kind is strictly prohibited.
May also include:
Cloning plants by use of either traditional cloning, micropropagation, or tissue culture.
“Pheno hunting.” Tracking and selecting phenotypes based on quality, yield, and vigor.
Special Focus:
Paying close attention to any suspected deficiencies or toxicities. Deficiencies/toxicities may include nutrient, light, moisture, etc.
Candidate will inspect all plants for infestations
Candidate will adjust nutrient feeds and conditions as needed to mitigate any deficiencies or toxicities, as directed by the head grower.
Candidate will ensure proper measurement, consistency, and record of nutrient feeds.
Candidate will note strain specific needs.

Qualification/skill requirements:

• Preferred - Degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Botany, or related field.
