SUMMARY:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Cultivation facilities. This person will independently and collaboratively provide a full range of administrative, clerical and office support. This includes front office reception and administration duties such as greeting new employees and other cultivation guests, maintaining supply levels, assisting with facilities coordination, updating signage, providing support for projects, and ensuring efficient and effective operations. Furthermore, the assistant is expected to assist with daily tasks that are contributing to the general efficiency of the company. The assistant may also be asked to schedule meetings and travel for executives as well as compile business-related information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute in increasing team efficiency by giving support both operationally and administratively.
- Perform administrative tasks such as; greeting and setting up interviews for potential new hires, conducting new hire and guest tours, maintaining parking structure, creating signage, being present for and taking record of inspections, as well as, updating licenses and employee information.
- Assist and organize company, events, tradeshows, and lunches.
- Create and establish spreadsheets and databases for maintaining company policies, goals and assets.
- Promote a healthy work environment that is positive and compliant with established company policies and procedures.
- Assist in marketing, social media, photos, and other promotional activity.
- Help with maintain the books.
- Support the Production facility by creating and updating interna; signage and assisting with the direction of company policies to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
- Occasional off-site errands and events at other facilities.
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:
- Solid organizational and communication skills, the Administrative Assistant must be able to fully support all aspects of the company, including but not limited to: compliance, ordering product, inventory control, loss prevention, etc.
- Ability to partner with managers on operational matters
- Ability to work with vendors and agencies to produce results
- Basic Microsoft Office and Google Drive knowledge is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and must have a team-player mentality
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to employees and vendors maintaining a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to creatively cultivate long- term customer relationships
- Ability to deal with and resolve problems in a professional manner
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associates degree preferred or an additional 2 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- 2+ years' experience in retail or customer service environment
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must be able to obtain a Key or Support badge through the Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division

Cannabis Cultivation Facility – Senior Plant Manager/General Manager
This job is to lead a team built of a Director of Marketing and Branding, Lead Grower, and Horticulture Assistants. This position would incorporate facility growth and strategy to grow the company while building a well-known brand.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide daily direction to the cultivation team based on the harvest schedule.
- Engage with all team members to find inefficiencies and execute improvements in productivity.
- Strategize with the owner and leadership team for direction of company.
- Assess and improve employee morale.
- Project sales and use to create monthly and yearly budget reports.
- Report to owners on continual basis to keep updated on company success and direction.
- Oversee sales & logistics and coordinate with leadership team.
- Account for all plant and facility safety and sanitization procedures.
- Review, train, implement and enforce all SOPs while continually looking for ways to improve and revise them.
- Stay in compliance with rules and regulations following OMMA, OBNDD and other state and federal laws.
- Maintain facility fully staffed with great employees.
- Ensure personnel and physical assets meet company safety, environmental, health, regulatory, maintenance, quality, and customer standards – champion of safety compliance throughout the organization.
- Learn & understand contracts, work orders, logistics, dispatching and other related functions.
- Responsible for total company financials and manages operations efficiently and effectively to achieve strategic goals.
- Monitor and collect on pass due accounts receivable.
- Supervise Accounts Payable to maintain a heathy cash flow.
- Match purchases orders to invoice to ensure match.
- Direct assigned area inventory control of products to limit shrink, non-billed products and services, theft, damage, aging, and deterioration.
- Supervision involves communicating department goals and results to employees, helping staff the location and delegating the workload, actively supporting employee growth and teamwork, and upholding cooperative policies.
- Other duties as identified and assigned.
Required Experience and Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years managing a plant, office, or sterile manufacturing facility in a supervisory role.
- Proven project management and problem-solving skills.
- Computer efficient and well versed in MS Office (excel too), and familiar with accounting reports.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
- High degree of accountability and awareness.
- Effective communication and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Must have a clean felony record in past 10 years and be able to pass State background checks.
- Maintenance experience with a mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with Producers and Merchandising team daily.

- This position can be physically strenuous from time to time. You will be expected to be able to work hands on with the plants requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, spend time working manual labor, and use of proper PPE.
- Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.
- Personal protective equipment, gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes, and respiratory protection are required.
