The Sales Manager is a critical sales-leader role, responsible for leading sales and account management. The Sales Manager will lead and coach members of the sales team to achieve and exceed goals. In addition to sales, the Sales Manager will work closely with senior leadership to set account/business strategy and define new client offerings.
In this role, you will need to:
- Hire, lead and coach a diverse sales and brand ambassador team to meet and exceed company objectives
- Facilitate trainings, provide support on presentations, and manage strategic planning sessions to develop current and new sales reps and brand ambassadors
- Become an expert in identifying challenges that our prospective customers face
- Serve as a subject matter expert on customers and current/ future products
- Follow up on qualified opportunities and prospects
- Develop and maintain existing and new business (house accounts) consistently at or above quota level
- Develop and maintain sales team SOPs to increase operational efficiencies and advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future
- Generate, report, and analyze sales data in order to collaborate with operations and executive management to create, build, and execute sales strategy
- Lead weekly sales meetings to develop, discuss, and perform on weekly/monthly/annual goals; review A/P to ensure accuracy
- Plan and schedule company sponsored events
- Collaborate with logistics team on delivery and payment
- Review monthly sales to develop commission reports for payroll
- Travel will be required
Requirements
- Experience with managing a sales team
- 3+ years’ experience in a sales management role preferably in the Cannabis industry
- Experience working with business owners and executives
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, informally and formally
- Ability to advance the vision of the company
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Sensitivity to and appreciation of cultural, political, and geographical differences
- Tons of enthusiasm, compassion, and humor
- Ability to pass a background check

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

At Flav , we would be nothing without our successful sales team. We’re seeking a qualified sales representative to help us sell our award winning vapes and gummies that our customers have grown love. The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events, and attending trade shows, it’s essential that our sales rep be personable and professional.
Objectives of this Role
- Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
- Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
- Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following an defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations
- Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-2 years in sales within a cannabis marketplace setting
- Basic Cannabis knowledge
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
- Personal integrity
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to customer events
- Must hold a valid Oklahoma Medical Marijuana card
- Valid Driver's license
- Working vehicle
- Laptop, computer or Tablet
- Proven previous account management and/ or sales experience (preferred business to business or in the cannabis industry)
- Exceptional time management
- Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills
- Familiarity with CRM/ POS systems
- Ability to create and maintain professional business relationships
- Ability to create and deliver presentations of products tailored to the audience wants/ needs
- Proven success rate at levels above quotas
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
