About Us:
Our organization is split into separate B2B & online B2C channels.
Initially, the primary focus of this position will be on growing our B2B channel, High Street Supply (https://www.highstreetsupply.com), which houses our own collection of in-house product lines that we manufacture & distribute to smoke shops, dispensaries & distributors across the United States.
High Street also features a white-label/private-label product development arm that provides businesses the ability to create products with their logo & branding. Additionally, we are rolling out a line of software solutions such as (website packages & local marketing) specifically tailored to smoke shops & dispensaries.
Our B2C channels are online-focused with our direct channel, Smoke Cargo (https://www.smokecargo.com), offering monthly subscription boxes & other à la carte smoking accessories available for purchase. We also sell on 3rd-party platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Etsy & Walmart.
The Position:
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic individual to help us expand the B2B sales & business development operations within our growing cannabis business here in Phoenix. We are looking for a strategic partner who is looking to prove themself to become a core part of our team of cannabis industry veterans.
In addition to taking over the management of our existing accounts, your primary objectives will be prospecting & securing new accounts by any means — cold calling, outside sales, e-mail & social media outreach, trade shows, networking events, and more. Once you've personally established traction and sales materials, you will be responsible for building & leading a sales team to drive continued growth.
What You'll Be Selling:
- Wholesale Cannabis Hardware Products (Pipes, Grinders, Trays, Lighters, Bulk Cones, Vape Pens, Stash Bags, etc.) - Hardware ONLY!
- Custom Branded (Private Label) Products + Design Services
- Website Design, Marketing & Maintenance Packages for Dispensaries, Smoke Shops & Tobacco Stores
Responsibilities:
- Develop a B2B growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Establish goals & KPIs for B2B market performance and revenue
- Call, text, e-mail & message our list of smoke shops & dispensaries to get a hold of the purchaser/owner.
- Prospect & generate new leads as needed.
- Visit smoke shops & dispensaries to showcase our products and services.
- Attend industry trade shows & networking events to nurture partnerships.
- Build & maintain client relationships with regular calls & check-ins to get re-orders.
- Maintain our CRM with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
- Close deals over a short sales cycle (normally up to 4 weeks).
- Evaluate & propose new sales strategies.
- Conduct research to identify new product markets and customer needs.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Build & lead the sales division of the company.
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
- Assist with contract & pricing negotiations for key accounts and product suppliers.
Requirements:
- 5+ Years of Cannabis Hardware Knowledge and/or Experience - MUST HAVE!
- 3+ Years of Phone Sales Experience
- 2+ Years of B2B Sales Experience
- Leadership skills & ability to work within a team of partners
- Proven track record in building sales & business development
- An entrepreneurial drive and desire to succeed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Time management and planning skills
- Tech-savviness with experience and/or capability to quickly learn new software (CRM, communication, eCommerce, etc.)
Compensation Information:
You will receive a monthly base and the ability to earn up to a 20% equity stake within our established company.
- $4,000 Monthly Base
- 20% Equity (Vested in 5% increments after satisfying established revenue performance goals)
