We are looking for an ambitious and energetic individual to help us expand the sales & business development operations within our growing cannabis business here in Phoenix. This is not a standard employment proposition — we are looking for a strategic partner who is looking to prove themself to become a core part of our team of cannabis industry veterans.
About Our Company
Our organization is split into separate B2B & online B2C channels.
Initially, the primary focus of this position will be on growing our B2B channel, High Street Supply (https://www.highstreetsupply.com), which houses our own collection of in-house product lines that we manufacture & distribute to smoke shops, dispensaries & distributors across the United States.
High Street also features a white-label/private-label product development arm that provides businesses the ability to create products with their logo & branding. Additionally, we are rolling out a line of software solutions such as (website packages & local marketing) specifically tailored to smoke shops & dispensaries.
Our B2C channels are online-focused with our direct channel, Smoke Cargo (https://www.smokecargo.com), offering monthly subscription boxes & other à la carte smoking accessories available for purchase. We also sell on 3rd-party platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Etsy & Walmart.
Our founding team is comprised of 3 owner-operators with a long history of experience building brands & businesses in the cannabis industry.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop a B2B growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Establish & set goals & KPIs for company-wide performance and revenue
- Conduct research to identify new product markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Build & lead the sales division of the company
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople
- Negotiate contracts & pricing with key product suppliers
Your Skills & Experience
- Cannabis hardware market knowledge & experience
- Leadership & ability to work within a team of partners
- Proven track record in building sales & business development
- An entrepreneurial drive and desire to succeed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Time management and planning skills
- Product development & sourcing
- Tech-savvy with experience and/or capability to quickly learn new software (CRM, communication, eCommerce, etc.)
