Good Will Holdings is aiming to be a vertically integrated seed-to-sale cannabis enterprise which operates licensed cultivation, manufacturing & distribution in Los Angeles. With a range of recreational and medicinal cannabis products under development, GW launched its first brand in 2017 in the Medical market. Currently the company is looking to acquire a cultivation and volatile manufacturing space in Los Angeles or surrounding areas within the next 6 months. We aim to be the brand of choice in the cannabis space within 2 years and are assembling the team capable of delivering to that promise. Our current operation includes manufacturing and distribution out of our 40,000 sqft warehouse in DTLA.
About the Position
GW is seeking an experienced Production Manager to ensure adequate inventory levels for production through overseeing production of cannabis finished goods across three shifts and positions. The Production Manager will create and ensure follow through on production schedules for a variety of SKUs. They will create and keep up to date best practice Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that ensure consistency and regulatory compliance. This individual should have excellent organizational and communication skills and should have experience in a highly regulated production environment.
The Production Manager oversees the department across multiple shifts and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning of production and packaging schedules based on demand
- Supervise and provide support to the production and packaging teams to ensure goals are met or exceeded
- Oversee the preparation and execution of purchase orders to ensure adequate supplies while staying within budget
- Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all activities within the department
- Interface with third-party laboratory to facilitate product testing
- Maintain an extremely sterile work environment
- Facilitate interdepartmental and wholesale transfers of product
- Maintain strict compliance with all relevant regulations
- Hire, onboard, and manage team members while maintaining performance and morale
- Maintain department schedule, track employee attendance, process PTO requests
- Hold regularly scheduled employee training
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure cohesion and meet company goals
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills:
- College Degree
- Cannabis Experience
- At least three years experience in production management/supply chain
- Experience in a lab setting is preferred
- Ability to develop and strictly adhere to GMP protocols
- Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
- Excellent math skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for producing high-quality products
- Excitement to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Excel and other MS Office products

The team is led by industry professionals and is looking to expand its California footprint. This is your chance to build a company and be a part of something larger. The Sales Manager works under the supervision of the CFO as part of a team of Account Managers (collectively, the “Sales Team”) to accelerate the Company’s sales. This individual will establish and maintain relationships with, and act as a valuable resource, assigned retail dispensaries and delivery businesses within the Cannabis industry, while also leading a team to success.
The Sales Manager and the Sales Team will promote, market, and sell to licensed commercial cannabis retailers in the State of California (each a “Retailer”) those products (“Company’s Products”) of Company and Company’s affiliated State license holding distribution company set forth in a written list (the “Products List”) delivered (including, but not limited to, by email) to the Sales Team, as may be updated by Company from time to time in the Company’s sole and exclusive discretion.
The Sales Manager shall not conduct any commercial cannabis activity as defined in Section 26001(k) of MAUCRSA. They shall act solely as a promoter, marketer and consultant for the Company promoting and marketing the Company Products to all Target Accounts and shall not transport, sell, or deal directly with the Company’s Products.
This individual agrees to comply with all state and local laws, including any Applicable Laws relating to the marketing or promotion of commercial cannabis products. They agree to take all such further acts and execute all such further documents as Company reasonably may request in connection with such compliance.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage a team of 4 Account Managers
- Spend over 50% of working hours engaged in sales activity outside the home and outside the Company’s place of business
- Achieve stated Company objectives regarding sales, quotas, expenses, activities as set forth by the Chief Financial Officer
- Land and develop partnerships, understanding account needs, and proactively support and grow accounts
- Clearly communicate the value of the company’s products and partnership opportunities
- Place and track orders in Company’s track and trace system in compliance with Applicable Law and follow up appropriately
- Be familiar with and abide by Company policies regarding processing and delivery of orders
- Support all account activities including product launches, new store openings, promotional events, etc
- Schedule partnership events including demo days, patient appreciation days, budtender training, etc
- Arrange for Corporate staff to support account activities as needed
- Resolve all account issues or conflicts per Company guidelines
- Prepare and submit all reports in a timely manner including updated Account Profiles, Call Reports, Sample Requests, Target Accounts, Competitive Analyses, Event Planning, etc. as requested
- Attend regional sales meetings, corporate events, trade shows, etc. as requested
- Manage sales and travel expenses within set budgets and Company guidelines
- Any other duties assigned to you by the Company’s President, Sales Director and/or any other employee of the Company designated by the President to be their supervisor.
