Your daily tasks would include but are certainly not limited to:

- Escalate and manage advanced support issues with the CCO and operations department.
- Contribute to sales meetings by preparing a weekly report, taking notes, and tracking action items.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PAX is seeking a Regional Sales Operations Associate/Manager to focus on our US Consumables markets beginning with CA, CO and MA. The successful candidate will be a results-driven growth champion who will take ownership of analysis supporting strategic decisions and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales team.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales Operations, this person will:

SPECIFIC Responsibilities & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Sell Farming First products. Grow retail presence within a defined territory
- Sign 15-20 new accounts every quarter with goals adjusted regularly, achieving projected sales goals and share monthly reports on progress

POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Regional Sales Manager for Western, MA is responsible for ensuring that the relationship with our distributor is managed properly and our customers are provided with outstanding services. Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will lead the Colorado field sales team in implementing the company’s revenue strategy with ultimate accountability for growing profitable revenue and distribution of SLANG products. This person will be expected to not only lead their team in executing sales with existing customers but also take ownership of generating new business.

- Spend a minimum of three days per week in the field working with the account executives, coaching and supporting them on meetings.

The Opportunity

The Sales Manager works under the supervision of the CFO as part of a team of Account Managers (collectively, the “Sales Team”) to accelerate the Company’s sales. The Opportunity
The Regional Sales Manager, Central will be responsible for managing a P&L in the Central region, working with distributors and retailers in the market to ensure Canopy’s brands are positioned as the market leader. Additionally, this leader will hire and develop people to reach their full potential and drive market leadership with the best and brightest talent. This is an exciting fast-paced sales opportunity for the right self-starter who can build customer relationships, sell in a fact-based manner, is data and category driven, and has the ability to engage and influence the community.
Responsibilities
Drive market share, revenue, and sales for the Region.
- Selling and Influencing
- Manage all accounts in their assigned territory and establish Canopy Growth as a first-choice partner with customers and distributors
- Seek new opportunities to increase brand exposure and volume/share
- Identify new distribution opportunities and build partnerships that maximize profitable share and volume through distribution, visibility and service, including agency
- Manage local distributors, drive compliance, sales, and in store execution
- Build a team by working with HR and VP of Sales
- Manage distributor network, agency for sales, state managers, regional chains, and local assets
- Responsible for P&L, forecasting, reporting and tracking, and setting targets
- Product launch for geography
- Promotional pricing and trade marketing execution

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for executing the business development plan, owning the relationship with the customer, outperforming their revenue targets, meeting daily, weekly and monthly activity goals, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This person will work very closely with the Brand Ambassador (BA) in their market and the Sales Operations Manager (SOM) assigned to their team to quickly activate new retail accounts, provide budtender education (as needed on larger accounts), increase the number of categories in an account, order input, merchandising/display strategy, and forecasting inventory needs and revenue to the production team and Head of Sales.
What you'll do day to day
- Aggressively activating new accounts
- Cross-selling and upselling existing accounts
- Providing sale forecasts to the Head of Sales
- Achieving daily, weekly and monthly activity goals
- Onboarding customers to in-house inventory management and CRM
- Becoming an expert on all products and how they differentiate from the competition
- Ensuring CRM is updated daily and orders processed.
- Being persistent enough to touch an account 5-10 times before making a sale
- Travel within 2 hours of the area 80% of the time
- Building strong relationships with buyers in cannabis dispensaries Works closely with both sales and marketing departments
- Monitor and report customer feedback to sales and marketing departments
- Track and report on industry trends as well as competitors’ activities
- Maintain a positive image for the brands and company
- Participate in trade shows as the company’s spokesman
