Position Description:
Globus Distribution is seeking an outgoing, charismatic and a highly approachable sales professional with experience in the cannabis industry to serve as our Territory Sales
Representative in several territories.
Globus Distribution’s Territory Sales Representative (TSR) will serve as a product expert and our internal go-to salesperson in Eastern and Western Oklahoma. They will communicate product knowledge to buyers, budtenders and consumers. They will be actively involved in industry specific events, Patient Appreciation Days/demos and in all sales efforts into dispensaries. The #1 goal ofGlobus Distribution's TSR is to sell and meet with as many dispensaries in Oklahoma as possible while simultaneously building brand awareness in their territory.
TSR acts as the face of the company and will have an opportunity for future growth within the company if a mutual fit is established. You will be the face of the brand at various retailers in the field. You will provide product samplings, meet with buyers, set up demonstrations, record consumer/budtender insights with the goal of selling into new stores and engaging with budtenders and consumers.TSR shall, in addition to booking sales, conduct in-store product demonstrations at select locations; assist with Field Marketing, Special Event Marketing, and Media Events; serve as primary educator of the products; acquire a strong familiarity with the company's products, mission and values in order to communicate them to buyers; provide merchandising support; be informed of market conditions and all product innovations.
Responsibilities:
- Identify prospects and initiate contact through cold calls, email campaigns and in-person meetings
- Educate potential and current customers about our cannabis products and services to build partnerships
- Create sales proposals to present to prospective customers that ensure our value proposition is well defined
- Present realistic forecasts to the management team
- Provide weekly activity reports along with recommendations
- Consistent follow-up with both perspective and current customers
- Manage any in-bound leads and inquiries in a timely manner
- Schedule and attend customer appreciation events
- Assist in collecting competitive information
- Effectively execute new launch materials and displays at store level
- Promote brands to retail store personnel and consumers in a professional manner
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with all in-store personnel
- Seek out and report new opportunities, areas for improvement, competitive information/activity, etc.
- Suggest ways to improve process or marketing at POS
- Analyze customer reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs
- Remain up to date with industry’s best practices
- Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
- Sell all product lines under Globus Distribution portfolio to Oklahoma dispensaries
- Manage delivery logistics, ensure customer satisfaction and provide all required paperwork at time of delivery( COAs, Manifest, Invoice) are properly documented.
Job Requirements:
- Proven track record of sales experience
- Ability to lift up to 55lb
- Can work in various Oklahoma temperature environments
- Ability to drive long distances
- Ability to change direction rapidly, maintain and establish effective working schedule
- Can work independently
- Ability to build relationships and rapport with internal and external partners
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- High level of organization
- Excellent execution and follow-through
- Good writing skills
- Ability to be assertive, yet diplomatic
- Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings
- Cannabis and/or related retail experience
- Reliable vehicle for travel to in-state events and retail locations.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct reports at this time, but may as the team grows.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and in the field. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift up to
55 pounds. Lift and carry folding tables, bins of merchandise and tens and banners. Must be able to stand and talk with others for up to 4 hours at a time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position does require some evening and weekend work depending on the event schedule.
Travel is primarily local during the business day
Hours are based on sales quota.
Required Education and Experience
- Previous cannabis industry experience.
- Previous sales, customer service, and event experience.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per month
