Who You Are
This position will be located in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. We are a fast-paced company that is expanding rapidly and we are seeking team members who will share our vision for the future and work collaboratively in order to accomplish GeekTek’s goals. We pride ourselves on providing superior service to our clients, which includes having attention to detail, following the processes in place, and being able to adapt to a variety of situations.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities
- Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
- Conduct market research
- Analyze client rating reports/ questionnaires
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data.
- Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
- Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
- Prepare and deliver promotional presentations
- Compose and post online content on the company's website and social media accounts
- Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc.) to augment the company's presence in the market
- Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing
- 3-5 years as a senior marketing or Lead Marketing manager
- Good experience in office management and marketing principles
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, HubSpot, Online analytics, Google AdWords, etc.)
- Must have experience managing all of the major ad platforms (PPC), content writers, SEO, ROI calculations for campaigns, etc.
- Exquisite communication and people skills.

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, lead acquisition strategies, foster customer retention, execute business development, provide sales support, and advance brand building. Seeking a leader to manage the marketing team.
Responsibilities for Marketing Manager
- Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan
- Create a marketing strategy based on the company’s mission and values
- Market through various channels and segment databases working with large data sets
- Develop business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics
- Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow and retention
- Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications
- Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors
- Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish
- Present frequent progress reports to executives
- Hire, train, and manage the marketing team, including performance reviews
- Oversee social media marketing platforms
- Oversee the operation of company’s website and email marketing program and provide analytics to review
- Develop digital and traditional marketing campaigns across multiple platforms
- Spearhead efforts to increase SEO visibility
Qualifications for Marketing Manager
- 8+ years of experience as Marketing Manager
- Strong experience in email marketing, SEO, SEM
- Experience building complex marketing programs
- Experience with graphic design
- Exposure to digital and direct response marketing
- Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails and landing pages
- Strong project management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
- Should be familiar with the following software/tools Marketo, Hubspot, Salesforce
- Proven dynamic leadership and project management skills
- Strategic, innovative and creative personality with a strong business acumen
- A passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Adept multitasker with the ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Should develop sales plans, prepare sales sheets and metrics and own outbound sales activities.
- Attending initial sales meetings
- Interacting with new and current clients
- Managing a sales pipeline
- Being responsible for and growing the company’s book of business
- Determining a client's business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable.
- Decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client's needs.
- Facilitating the answers to any technical questions the client might have.
- Presenting your findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client.
- Handling of inbound & outbound calls from customers and technicians.
- Play an active role in closing end-user business by working closely with our company sales engineers and partners
- Effectively train on and present our company solutions via webinar.
- Work closely with the marketing team to identify and drive partner programs and events.
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the industry including competitive issues and products.
- Record all partners' interactions and activities in CRM.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Skills Required:
- 4-8 years of strong experience.
- Ability to apply entrepreneurial strengths in a driven, forward-thinking way.
- Proven work-ethic and time-management skills.
- Excellent selling, technical and negotiating skills.
- Excellent technical aptitudes in virtualization, server knowledge, network administration.
