Job Title
Solventless Extracts Technician
Seeking a contractor as a solventless extracts technician to assist the managing director of production in all aspects of hash extraction & post- processing in a newly licensed cannabis processing establishment. This is a short term contract with the opportunity to immediately transition to full time employment based on performance.

Position Overview
The Ideal candidate for this position has a deep personal relationship with the cannabis plant, and the drive of an entrepreneur. This person will be expected to manage the daily operations of the hash extraction and post-processing operations under the supervision of the Managing Director of Production. The candidate will be able to spend a prolonged period of time in cold temperatures (around 40 degrees), most of the time alone, and expect a physically demanding work day.
This individual will also have the grit and determination to quickly transition from a management mindset to a tactical production mindset taking part in all processing and manufacturing operations. The opportunity for advancement and earning potential for this position is high over time, and will give the individual an opportunity to advance to a management position with the growth of the company.
Responsibilities
- Processing, packaging, and handling of cannabis concentrates
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Executing daily tasks in order to hit production goals
- Working collaboratively with the lab team in adherence to quality-oriented SOPs
- Prepare biomass for processing and complete rosin prep work
- Operate ice water extraction equipment
- Organization of Water Hash and Rosin outputs for optimization of finished product
- Filling unit jars of water hash, live rosin, butane hash oil, sauce, etc.
- Identify and report any issues that need to be addressed by Lab Director
- Clean and maintain equipment used in the processes
- Sanitize work station and tools
- Work in walk in freezer for periods of time
- Preparation and cleaning of boxes, jars, lids, and equipment for packaging.
- Record keeping of all details pertinent to packaging and inventory.
- Maintaining strict inventory records of product, materials, and equipment.
- Storing of supplies and equipment, disposal of waste, and keeping the work area in pristine condition.
- Working collectively and respectfully with other team members.
- Enforcing a culture of safety and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and background in the cannabis industry is a plus.
- Strong number skills and basic math. Experience with inventory is desired.
- Experience in a production role that required time management and high standards for quality control.
- Experience with or knowledge of solventless production methods.
- Experience packaging cannabis & managing METRC inventory - particularly gramming/handling of concentrates and understanding of labeling and inventory compliance in METRC.
- 2+ years' experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is highly desired.
- Detail oriented with an eye on process improvement and optimization.
- Must be comfortable working in cold environments (30-40F) for extended periods of time. Ability to work in walk-in Fridge for an 8hr shift
- For extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking through the workday.
- Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance and offer the same to others in the department.
- Ability to work a varying schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.
- Efficient at repetitive tasks
- Work well as part of a team
- Maintain an up-tempo physical workload + Ability to lift 50lbs
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $15.00 - $18.00/hour (based on experience) as a 1099-Contractor w/ opportunity for advancement to full-time employment.

Position Overview
The Ideal candidate for this position has a deep personal relationship with the cannabis plant, and the love for making delicious food. Ideal experience will include working in a food production/manufacturing environment. This person will be expected to assist the Managing Director of Production to execute all food processing operations from infusion to manufacturing, packaging, inventory management, and warehousing + fulfillment. Additional key assignments for this position will be to assist the MD of Production in preparing the lab facility for GMP operations which will include helping to create and refine standard operating procedures.
The opportunity for advancement and earning potential for this position is high over time, and will give the individual an opportunity to advance to a management or director position with the growth of the company.
Must be able to spend a prolonged period of time on your feet and expect a physically demanding work day.

Beverage Production Technician
Seeking a contractor as a beverage production technician to assist the managing director of production and beverage production manager in all aspects of infused beverage production in one of the few licensed cannabis processing facilities operating in Michigan. This is a short term contract with the opportunity to immediately transition to full time employment as the company gets on its feet. Those on the ground floor will have ample opportunity for advancement.

Position Overview
Ideal experience will include having past experience working on a food or beverage production line.
This person will be producing cannabis infused beverages, filling bottles and cans with product, and packing out units for fulfillment. This person will also have the opportunity to be cross-trained to become an expert in all aspects of cannabis infused product manufacturing.
The opportunity for advancement and earning potential for this position is high over time, and will give the individual an opportunity to advance to a management or director position with the growth of the company.
Responsibilities
- Package infused material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Check quality and accuracy of labels
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory
- Pull supplies from inventory and prepare them for production
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
- Manually palletize packaged boxes of product
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Executing daily tasks in order to hit production goals
- Working collaboratively with the lab team in adherence to quality-oriented SOPs
- Clean and maintain equipment used in the processes
- Record keeping of all details pertinent to packaging and inventory.
