Job Summary:

Seeking a contractor as a solventless extracts technician to assist the managing director of production in all aspects of hash extraction & post- processing in a newly licensed cannabis processing establishment. Position Overview
The Ideal candidate for this position has a deep personal relationship with the cannabis plant, and the drive of an entrepreneur. This person will be expected to manage the daily operations of the hash extraction and post-processing operations under the supervision of the Managing Director of Production. The candidate will be able to spend a prolonged period of time in cold temperatures (around 40 degrees), most of the time alone, and expect a physically demanding work day.
This individual will also have the grit and determination to quickly transition from a management mindset to a tactical production mindset taking part in all processing and manufacturing operations. The opportunity for advancement and earning potential for this position is high over time, and will give the individual an opportunity to advance to a management position with the growth of the company.
Responsibilities
- Processing, packaging, and handling of cannabis concentrates
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Executing daily tasks in order to hit production goals
- Working collaboratively with the lab team in adherence to quality-oriented SOPs
- Prepare biomass for processing and complete rosin prep work
- Operate ice water extraction equipment
- Organization of Water Hash and Rosin outputs for optimization of finished product

This person will be producing cannabis infused beverages, filling bottles and cans with product, and packing out units for fulfillment. This person will also have the opportunity to be cross-trained to become an expert in all aspects of cannabis infused product manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Package infused material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Check quality and accuracy of labels
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory
- Pull supplies from inventory and prepare them for production
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
- Manually palletize packaged boxes of product
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Executing daily tasks in order to hit production goals
- Working collaboratively with the lab team in adherence to quality-oriented SOPs
- Clean and maintain equipment used in the processes
- Record keeping of all details pertinent to packaging and inventory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and background in the cannabis industry is a plus but not required.
- 1+ year experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is highly desired.
- For extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking through the workday.
