Seeking a contractor as a kitchen Technician to assist the managing director of production in all aspects of producing and packaging cannabis infused edible products in a newly licensed cannabis processing establishment. We are looking to fill our kitchen sander positions. With this role, you will also be overseeing orders and inventory to manage cook schedules for Washington and will work alongside our other manager who does ordering. We need someone who can:
- Keep track of inventory accurately

Kitchen Production Staff responsibilities and duties
- Producing edibles and other products
- Following closely all recipes and SOPs
- Assuring consistent dosing

- Using digital project management to keep records and integrate with our team

Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous commercial kitchen experience
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs

The primary responsibility of this position is to manufacture cannabis-infused products for the licensed adult-use market in Oregon. The first product line we are manufacturing for Oregon consumers is the nation's leader in infused gummies. The workload and opportunity will continue to expand with additional product lines will be introduced in 2021.
Process and time management skills are critical. There are several steps to the manufacturing process and each step will be simultaneously ongoing for multiple batches. Experience in the culinary arts, product manufacturing, or assembly line production is helpful but not required.
The first 8-10 weeks of employment will include virtual training with our staff in Colorado, as well as assisting with ordering equipment, supplies, etc. The general overview of the upcoming training and work schedule is below:
- Week of 11/2/20: 5-Day Virtual Training
- Week of 11/9/20: Assist with ordering supplies, ingredients and equipment.
- Week of 11/16/20: Assist with ordering supplies, ingredients and equipment.
- Week of 11/23/20: 3-Day Virtual Training (Refresher).
- Week of 12/1/20: First R&D production in Oregon facility.
- Week of 12/7/20: 5-Day Training in Oregon Facility.
- Week of 12/14/20: 5-Day Training in Oregon Facility.
- Week of 12/15/20: Ongoing production begins!
To work in a cannabis facility, a Worker Permit with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission is required. If you do not already have a Worker Permit, the cost of obtaining a Worker Permit is covered by the company.
