Job Description:
The Facilities Technician is responsible for assisting in the cleaning, maintenance, and daily upkeep of the facility to promote a clean and safe working environment for the building’s employees. This position is also responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility by working independently doing general repairs and maintenance around the property, and some janitorial duties including trash removal, mopping, snow removal, and maintaining exterior grounds. This individual will also coordinate with outside vendors and technicians on repairs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly.
- Overseeing supply stock, orders, and deliveries to ensure efficient levels of all cleaning supplies.
- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas.
- Performing routine maintenance on facilities.
- Great organizational skills and proactively communicating with all essential personnel.
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
- Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
- Maintain ongoing communication with contractors, vendors and management team.
- Scheduling and supervising maintenance repair work and assisting with checking installation and servicing building equipment.
- Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods.
- Escorting visitors including maintenance vendors through building
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check as mandated by the Cannabis Control Commission.
- Previous facility management experience.
- Previous experience managing supply inventory.
- Previous HVAC experience preferred.
- Basic mathematics and reasoning skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- General tool, hardware, ladder and building skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to multitask.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, reach with hands and arms and use peripheral vision; ability to adjust and focus.
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours a day and rotating shifts.
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs.
- Frequently required to walk, lift and/or move up to 50 lb.
- Occasionally requires climbing or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally work in wet or humid conditions, in high places, exposed to fumes or airborne particles.

Job Description:
The cultivation team is responsible for cannabis care in all stages of growth, not limited to, but including germination, propagation, vegetative states, and flowering.
This role is focused on the probation, vegetation and cloning of the plants and is crucial in ensuring that our garden is full of plants that are happy, healthy and yield strong results. Cultivation Propagation Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Cultivation and is responsible for the supervision of all daily tasks in their assigned areas within the Cultivation Facility.
Our ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and the ability to interact positively and effectively in a team environment. This role reports directly to the Director of Cultivation and works closely with the Cultivation Technicians in a supervisory capacity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervises the Veg and Clone teams in all daily tasks under the Director of Cultivation’s guidance.
- Works with the Director of Cultivation to create clone cut lists.
- Manages and tracks plant inventories throughout the cultivation department using the Metrc seed to sale tracking system.
- Assigns tasks to the Veg and Clone teams.
- Trains new cultivation and Clone Team members.
- Propagates plant cuttings and seeds according to the FPG propagation procedures.
- Maintains mother plants.
- Performs plant and crop maintenance using FPG standard procedures including but not limited to cloning, transplanting, irrigating, trimming and pest management.
- Maintains a clean environment by removing and disposing of all cannabis waste, cleaning, and sanitizing all rooms and tools daily.
- Assists in collecting data to monitor plant health and environmental control systems.
- Harvests plants.
- Masters and learns basic principles of cultivation SOPs.
- Assists others as part of a team to accomplish cultivation goals set forth by management.
- Applies approved pesticides under the supervision of the Director of Cultivation.
- Participates in plant inventory and cycle counts.
- Performs all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Label plants and ensure that an accurate inventory is maintained consistently.
- Must stay current and adhere to all state, federal and CCC regulations.
- Demonstrate ethical behavior, build positive team relationships throughout the department and organization.

- Basic computer skills, email, word processing, spreadsheets.

Flower Power Growers is hiring a Director of Cultivation. The Director of Cultivation is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the cultivation and processing including crop steering, scheduling, genetics, harvest, dry, cure, trim, pack, quality assurance, compliance and management of the cultivation team.
The Director is responsible for overseeing day-to-day cultivation activities and adjusting workflow and procedures to increase yields, efficiency, and overall performance. The Director will lead and manage employees, ensuring that production goals are met and the operation is in full compliance with the state and local regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cultivation operations for the facility, managing the plants through their entire life cycle from clone, vegetation, flower, harvest, dry, cure, trim and pack.
- Manage both the cultivation teams and processing teams.
- Consistently review the current system for operational efficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Develop methods to monitor and measure cultivation activity, identify areas of success and areas of opportunity.
- In conjunction with the CEO, establish key production metrics and report on them weekly.
- Ensure that the cultivation team is adhering to protocols and policies to ensure that production requirements are met
- Establish and review harvest schedules with the Processing Manager and sales team to ensure proper production and processing of material on schedule.
- Leveraging technology and automated systems, develop and implement procedures for optimal growing conditions and mitigation strategies as needed.
- Full responsibility for oversight and management of the facility, triaging system
- Establish, update and train staff on all standard operating procedures, including health, and safety requirements to monitor and ensure compliance.
- Establish cultivation standards and monitor and ensure compliance and communication including cultivation equipment specs and standards, nutrient and environment protocols, and hygiene and safety policies and procedures.
- Submit weekly reports to CEO, subsidiary cultivation reports highlighting specifics of key items and metrics.
- Ensure compliance standards pertaining to C.C.C. and MA state regulations are met.
- Manage all consumables and non-cannabis inventory for the cultivation and oversee the purchasing and restocking of products.
- Input and analyze data on all aspects of the cultivation facility and process.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check as mandated by the Cannabis Control Commission.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience managing systems, staff and resources in a large-scale commercial greenhouse or agricultural operation, preferably cannabis.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, agriculture, or related field.
- Experience managing teams of 15+ individuals.
- Advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in cultivation techniques and processes, including pest management and testing.
- Demonstrated mastery of growing methods, including in-depth knowledge of macro and micronutrients, and beneficial bacterial and nutrient implementation.
- Dedicated ability to achieve cultivation objectives in terms of volume, cost, and quality
- Experience managing profit and loss centers.
- Expert knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options.
- Knowledge of GMP guidelines.
