Euphora is seeking aqualified Retail General Managertolead team members in day-to-day operations, accompanied with ensuring sales targets are met within their retail location.
Essential Functions:
- Executes on operational expectations and leads with high standards through upholding all Euphora policies, procedures and security protocols by adhering to the Operations Policy Guide, Employee Manual and all other Euphora published materials;
- Provides structure for Assistant Manager, Customer Care Consultants, Inventory Managers and Security Staff which includes,but is not limited to scheduling, training, policy and procedure updates and education for new product information;
- Remains cognizant of current inventories on a daily basis and manages levels accordingly;
- Exemplifies and conveys overall trustworthiness in the eyes of the team, the customers and the vendors;
- Complies with asset protection through completing self-audits, cycle counts, incident reporting and inventory reconciliations;
- Processes transactions through a POS (point-of-sale) system and other computerized technology systems with expert knowledge of each platform
Business Operations:
- Maintains an active presence on the sales floor and demonstrates a strong understanding of sales through offering team support and guidance;
- Performs tracking functions to account for inventory, ordering, accounts payable, logistics and deliveries, and sales;
- Monitors overall retail sales and creates effective solutions to increase sales, including creation, implementation and evaluation of promotions, discounts, and guest benefits;
- Ensures quarterly marketing changes are executed, including but not limited to, in-store signage, menus and promotional materials;
- Complies with State and Federal laws and regulations as they continue to evolve;
- Manages and communicates all incidents with impact to business, asset or brand protection and investigates when needed;
- Oversees inventory receiving, inventory sold, requests and shipments.
Team Operations:
- Leads the team by providing ongoing training and coaching to enhance the workplace environment;
- Oversees scheduling of team members, including addressing staff requests;
- Engages alongside the team in performing all tasks to showcase leading by example;
- Monitors sales floor for a variety of factors, including but not limited to flow, staffing needs, quality of service, inventory changes and security;
- Sets and maintains the overall tone and atmosphere of the store through leading by example;
- Fulfills job duties of any retail associate to compensate for staffing shortages, meal or break times, higher than normal sales volume or to support general operations;
- Partners with Human Resources and Director of Retail Operations for all employee issues to ensure proper documentation as well as determine effective and fast resolution;
- Delivers reviews and feedback to team members; provides action plans where and when needed;
- Identifies talent, interviews candidates, hires and onboards new employees.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age;
- Must have an Oklahoma Medical Marijuana License;
- Must pass background check (No felony convictions within the last 10 years per state law) and reference checks;
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Must have flexibility with work schedule.
Proven Skills and Abilities Desired:
- Proven ability to lead teams and instill positive company culture;
- Ability to analyze selling reports and identify trends within the industry;
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality;
- Proven ability to be a self starter and work independently;
- Proficiency in Google Suite – Drive, Sheets, Gmail, etc.;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel;
- High attention to detail, and experience inputting and reporting on high volumes of data.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role in retail or service related industry;
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in retail or service related industry.
