Role and Responsibilities
This role will handle raw cannabis and cannabis extract and is accountable for following compliant processing guidelines. Works with high pressure equipment, and scientific ovens. The ideal candidate should be able to handle multiple processes at a time, and to prioritize according to given direction. Daily responsibilities can include processing, quality assurance activities, cleaning, gathering supplies, and any other reasonable request.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
General Education Diploma
At least 1 Year in Cannabis industry is a plus

Ability to Follow Verbal Direction, and follow written SOP’s
Physical requirements

About the Department: The packaging department at Green Stem Provisioning prides itself on a strong sense of teamwork. About the Role: Without this position, the packaging team would be missing an essential role in maintaining the symbiosis of the department, and through them the provisioning center. As the department assistant manager, a person in responsible for maintaining a portion of the digital legwork, this role requires moderate technological expertise, as well as the ability to pick up where the team is lagging.
Responsibilities:
· Intake Bulk Bud Shipments
· Creating packages from bulk buds
· Training all onboarding packaging technicians
· Creating strains/items in metrc and flowhub
· Preparing labels for child batches
· Printing and creating labels on Adobe Illustrator
· CSV creation and upload to flowhub
· Quality checking all new batches
· Manage waste log
· Manage various data reports
· Delegating tasks when necessary
· Schedule employees for work and break time
· Maintain Packing Log
· Adjusting and finishing packages in metrc
· Maintaining bulk bud and pre-packaged bud stock
· Pricing and adjusting prices for flower in multiple forms
Role Requirements:
· Must not be a current Medical Marijuana Caregiver (or rescind caregiver card prior to employment)
· Able to work with, help guide, challenge, and motivate other packaging team members in order to create an efficient and cohesive unit
· Extraordinary organizational, tracking, and communication skills
· Ability to work independently when needed, but also to work efficiently as the leader of a team of packaging technicians
· Manages time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing top tier product
· Must be able to follow basic instructions and immediately integrate feedback and directions into their work
· Understand that Packaging manager will hold ultimate accountability for ensuring all team members maintain strict compliance with all regulations and procedures
· Logical judgement in adhering to established protocols in regard to product processing, keeping quality and goals in mind.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Accurate data entry and record keeping
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Previous cannabis support staff experience preferred
· Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations
