POSITIONSUMMARY:

Development of working relationshipsand appropriate regulatory agencies and work as a liaison in regard to FoodSafety and Quality matters. Standardize product quality evaluation proceduresto maintain high level of standards for quality levels. Oversee monitoring,verification, and validation activities to ensure that all products leaving thefacility meet the facility Food Safety and Quality Plans.
· Managing,coaching, and developing Production and Materials Manager, and the ChiefEngineer and their staff.
· Managesthe Production Manager an ensures all proper documentation is in place andorganized as well as ensuring proper training to all line staff.
· Managefinished product evaluation system and provide leadership to drive improvementsin key customer/consumer Quality attributes.
· Complywith GMPs, HACCP and other Food Safety, quality and security guidelines.
· Adhereto all Pastry Smart LLC specifications
· Detectingand recognizing the signs and behavior of employees who may be using drugs or alcohol
GENERALJOB PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
· Excellent written and verbal communicationskills.
· Computer literate in Microsoft software (Excel,PowerPoint, Word, Access, etc.)
· Demonstrate leadership in the areas of food safetyand plant regulatory affairs.
· Strong leadership and organizational skills.
· Excellent problem-solving capabilities andimprovement techniques.
· Comprehensive experience and a thoroughunderstanding of FDA and/or USDA inspected manufacturing facilities.
EDUCATIONAND/OR REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS
· Bachelor'sdegree in food science or related field or Equivalent experience
· Fiveyears’ experience in Quality Assurance management in the food industry.

POSITION SUMMARY:
A Flower Line Operator is responsible for the overall equipment operation for the flower packing line. This position includes ensuring efficient line operations while achieving goals and daily KPIs set by the company. Operators must achieve target machine efficiency standards, quality standards, waste goals and give away targets. This position will also be required to learn new equipment and duties as assigned in the flower packing department. Must have flexible work hours and have the ability to come in early, stay late, work long hours and potentially weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All aspects of starting up, running, shutting down, and cleaning of the equipment
- Proficient with running each piece of equipment for the Flower Packing Line
- This position requires an understanding of mechanical equipment and general process flow
- General maintenance of all equipment
- Use basic hand tools
- Basic and intermediate troubleshooting of equipment
- Contact and work with tech support from the equipment manufacturer
- Understanding of sanitation practices
- Perform Daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning
- Adhering to all quality standards for product being packed
- Work with electronic user interface screens to run equipment optimally, pull data, and process reports
- Track inventory of batches of flower to be packed
- Report out on daily run data and submit reports to department managers
- Identify, track, and consistently work to minimize all product waste and packaging material waste
- Track customer complaints and troubleshoot each complaint in an effort to eliminate root cause
- Train and mentor other team members and new employees on how to operate equipment
- Monitor and inspect supplies or materials used for processing
- Demonstrate good understanding and comply with all the GMP standards
- Identify any safety concerns or hazards and report them to management
- Follow specific instructions according to company policies.
- Ensure all packaging and labels are compliant with State laws as well as METRC entries
- Performs sanitation of the line daily according to GMP's, communicating specific sanitation duties to all flower line assistant.
- Verifies, tracks, and reports daily all raw materials used and rework.
- Performs work of Flower Line assistant.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is also responsible for any general labor tasks associated with feeding and running the machine in the event of short staffing situations.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 2+ years’ experience with running automated machinery touchscreen and switch panels and
- Experience with safety requirements in a warehouse and automated machinery environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, Google Sheets, and other basic computer machine operator software.
- Basic training or experience in machine efficiency and run rates
- Understanding of quality standards and sanitation practices
- Experience generating shift summary reports
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Exceptional math skills
- Great at troubleshooting with an attentional to detail
- Basic mechanical skills for machine repair and preventative maintenance work
- Must be able to perform required safety functions - Lockout/Tag-out, Chemical Handling, etc.
- Must consent to undergo background check in accordance with state and federal regulations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Ability to stand for long hours at a time up to 95% of shift
- Occasional computer works as required at end of shift

The Track & Trace Compliance Manager is responsible for implementing the MetrC system of seed to sale tracking into the existing operating procedures of the company. The role includes auditing current systems, practices and reporting as well as developing means to fully comply with the state mandated trackability of all cannabis materials harvested, manufactured, or distributed by the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Audit current practices for movement and reporting of cannabis materials.
- Integrate Metrc program into daily operations.
- Function as in-house MetrC property expert and trainer for extended team.
- Ensure all transactions from Seed to Sale are recorded accurately within the MetrC program.
- Provide timely communications for any issues with track and trace reporting.
- Troubleshoot implementation and on-going utilization of the MetrC program.
- Order tags, labels and devices in support of the program as needed and keep inventory of the same.
- Work with Testing team as well as Operations on remediation reporting as needed.
- Working with Inventory and Sales team to ensure seamless communication with Wayv.
- Hire, train and supervise extended track and trace team.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with hiring and training of team members within various disciplines of the company to maintain an accurate and compliant track and trace process.

The most critical responsibility is to ensure that customer service is maintained at the highest level possible and any customer and/or delivery driver issues are quickly resolved. This position manages a team of Logistics Support Coordinators who are responsible for communicating with customers on delivery timing; entering, processing, and invoicing orders; processing returns; and scheduling cash payment collections.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with customers in advance of scheduled delivery date with all relevant and required information
- Work closely with Delivery Drivers and the Sales Team to maximize customer support and satisfaction; handle all issues in a timely and professional manner
- Accurately process and invoice customer orders with lot code traceability
- Manage all delivery manifests and communication to/with the BCC (Bureau of Cannabis Control)
- Create and manage all order and delivery-related documents such as invoices, sales acknowledgments, manifests, etc.
- Track non-COD deliveries and amounts owed, and ensure cash collections are scheduled when due
- Ensure all orders and credits are properly invoiced
- Invoice and oversee bulk order deliveries while ensuring the Company is operating within BCC regulations
- Perform daily activities required for order tracking and properly maintain ‘Track and Trace’ compliance
- Maintain KPI’s and provide other types of data reporting
- Implement and assist with new software systems and related technology
- Prepare, document, and maintain all delivery activity in the driver logs
- Review the open order reports on a daily basis
- Identify ways to improve customer service and support, and the overall customer and delivery experience
- Hire, train, supervise, and coach Logistics Support Coordinators; review employee performances and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is a driving position with admin and loading duties. Daily routes can be up to but not limited to 8 hours on the road. Responsible for driving a van or lighter vehicle to deliver and deliver product.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITES:
- Follow rules and regulations of the road at all times.
- Collect payments at the time of delivery, recognize and resolve payment discrepancies
- Keep an accurate record of any refused product
- Communicate with the Distribution Coordinator on a daily basis regarding product needs and discrepancies
- Ask for feedback on provided services then share details with Account Manager by communicating any questions asked or feedback received
- May need to for pick/pack orders accurately while noting all lot numbers
- Ensure you have all orders and product matches order before leaving
- Maintain levels of promotional material within each account
- Serve a customer service role by representing the company whenever making deliveries
- Complete Driver log after each delivery, carefully noting any delivery opportunities
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure all product is accounted for
- Record customers payment method, amount paid, date, name and customer signature for each delivery
- Call customers at least 30 minutes out to confirm delivery
- Report any accidents or vehicles issues while in route to supervisors
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Any other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager
