Reports To: Trim Manager
Essential Functions:
- Breakdown flowers off of stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from useable product
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch.
- Trim cannabis to meet company aesthetics, producing the highest quality product efficiently.
- After breakdown of plant, employee must identify and separate fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower.
- Employee must account for each by-product type processed off the flower; adding stems and fan leaves to “waste” for proper tracking.
- Employee must exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
- Employee must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.
- Employee must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.
- Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing the highest quality product.
- Employee must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards and production goals.
- Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work.
- Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines, shower prior to shift.
- Trim staff is responsible for clean-up, disinfection of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day.
- Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sterility of workspace at all times.
- Employee must maintain quality standards, flower integrity and adapt to various strains/techniques.
Additional Functions:
- Ability to be flexible and work in various areas of the company as needed an/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping grow staff with harvests, small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment and/or helping the packaging department or working elsewhere as needed.
- Must work well with others and be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique.
- Use of independent judgment in regards to product processing, keeping quality, projections and goals in mind.
- Maintain a positive attitude and self-motivation to help produce high quality manicured product.

Job Specifications:
- Trim staff must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the company.
- Trim staff must have a basic understanding of Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state and Maine OCP; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws is appreciated and commendable.
· Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting, drying, packaging, trimming and curing; initial focus on trimming with other areas being taught/expected by employees while still maintaining their capabilities as a trimmer.
· Skill in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed; “coded product”.
· Shows self-motivation/innovation and the ability to work well with all members of their staff and the company, as well as with their direct supervisor.
· Ability to listen well and communicate effectively, especially with the direct supervisors and other co-workers.
· Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately while not overstepping chain of command.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees, upper management, and other departments.
· Ability to perform a monotonous task with great efficiency over 8-hour work periods without losing quality.

Additional Requirements:
· Maine driver’s license
· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
· Must pass any and all required background checks
· Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
· Must be approved by OCP to receive a RIC card.
Minimum Education and Experience:
· High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred.
· DRY TRIMMING/PROCESSING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ---Preferably 1 year minimum
· Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Working Conditions:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
· Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
· PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and product.

Cultivation Technicians
Cultivation Technicians are responsible for assisting with all aspects of the company's cultivation operation from propagation to harvest. Essential functions include — but are not limited to —cleaning, cloning, transplanting, applications, pruning plants, planting and sanitizing rooms as well as various miscellaneous tasks that fall under the day-to-day management of our gardens and their various individual departments. Cultivation Technicians, and all employees, are expected to participate in daily walk throughs of the facility and assist with cleaning and sanitizing work areas and common spaces.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
These include, but are not limited to, the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Must be 21 or over to apply.

- General cleaning duties, e.g. scrubbing and sanitizing trays in propagation room, veg room and various flowering rooms; scrubbing and sanitizing buckets and other tools; cleaning miscellaneous growing equipment to maintain protocols.
- Facility cleaning duties, e.g. sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces and common spaces. Ensure that proper safety signs are in place to caution employees on wet floors, oily surfaces, and other occupational hazards as soon as they are noticed.
- Transfer plants from one stage to the next; de-leafing plants, removing waste, weighing & tracking plant waste.
- Complete regularly scheduled walkthroughs to assess quality of plants for signs of pests/disease under the training of the Cultivation Manager.
- Ensures all equipment and systems (mechanical, lighting, fertigation/plumbing, etc) are properly maintained.
- Inventory procedures as they relate to proper plant counts, tracking information for inventory to ensure that our facility is always operating in compliance.
- Must wear Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at appropriate times as this position may be exposed to splash hazards, high temperatures, and chemicals. Complete training will be provided upon hiring.
- Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Complies with safety requirements at all times.

Job Overview
A Bud Tender is responsible for greeting, assisting and educating patients through the purchasing experience in the retail setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage customer satisfaction by guiding customers through the selection process
- Customer Service
- Answer questions, offer suggestions, handle and showcase products
- Maintain a clean and tidy store environment
- Be an expert on products offered
- Use of Point of Sale System

- Maintain patient privacy as required in MMMP Program Rules and HIPPA
Qualifications
