About This Role

The Post-Harvest Trim Citizen is responsible for trimming, weighing, packaging, and collecting data for harvested plants.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Directly responsible for all stages of trimming through the transfer to the Quarantine Room
- Responsible for production and labeling of some secondary products to include small flower, trim and fresh frozen material for extraction
- Directly responsible for providing accurate and timely information to leads relating to weights, measures, quantities, etc.
- Identify and communicate problems such as mold, diseases, insects, etc. that may have a negative impact quality
- Assure sanitation standards are followed with respect to process equipment maintenance (i.e., nutrient reservoirs and irrigation) and finished goods production equipment (i.e., auto-trimmer, Pre-roll, extraction, etc.)
- Be able to see and mitigate Waste / Product and Process Defects – considering a wide variety of defects such as plant disease, bad insects, poor product quality, etc.
- Accountable for quality control checks (Leader Standard Work) to ensure process and product quality in line with company standards and assure Citizens maintain a clean and tidy workspace (5-S Standard)
- Collaborate with all Citizens in improving daily tasks, assure proper training, and provide process audits with a passion for Continuous Improvement.
- Communicate with clarity and consistency to maintain a positive and progressive team atmosphere.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The primary role of a Security Citizen is to protect the security of the premises - in particular the security of the people working and visiting onsite, and the security of the safe, high-quality product being grown and produced on the premises that will serve our customers across Michigan.

- Assure all cannabis products are free from contamination risk at all stages; from propagation to harvest
- Monitor for quality control checks to ensure process and product quality in line with company standards
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and displays a high standard of cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with other Harvest Citizens in daily cultivation tasks, training, and review of process with a continuous improvement mentality
- Employ professional and clear communication practices to maintain a positive and progressive team atmosphere
- Identify a wide variety of conditions such as plant diseases, existence of insects, nutrient deficiencies, etc.
- Pre-harvest fan leaf removal in the flower room and recording the waste
- Removing trellis netting, cutting down the plant, weighing the plant, and entering the wet weight into METRC

- After the plant is dry, removing the flower from the stem and store for curing
The Experience You Bring and the Skills we Need:
- Degree in Horticulture, Biology, Agriculture, or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Experience in agricultural or food safety/handling industry is acceptable in lieu of degree.
- Computer proficiency is a must. Experience with cannabis track-and-trace software such as BioTrack, MJ Freeway, or METRC is a plus.
- Efficient cultivation/production work ethic with application of problem-solving skills to overcome daily cultivation/production issues.
- Knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment processes and options.
- Must have accountability, proactive behavior, strong attention to detail. Can follow company policies and contribute towards the goal of achieving production targets within set timelines.

The Master Scheduler will also be responsible for scheduling strategy, schedule attainment, BOM’s, routings, material masters, product management, forecasting, S&OP and budget control.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Serve as a primary point of contact and collaborates with sales, logistics, and manufacturing departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs.
- Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.
- Negotiates with outside supply vendors; ensures accurate and timely delivery of orders.
- Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
- Maintains master distribution schedule for the assigned facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
- Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.
- Performs other related duties, as required.
Planning & Internal teamwork, including but not limited to:
- Identifying or creating scheduling tools, templates, and best practice processes, minimizing waste in the internal workflow
- Working with the Supply Chain Team, communicating and collectively problem-solving together when delays or other order issues arise
- Working with the Finance Team to create and manage the procurement budget
- Working collaboratively with our compliance team
- Utilizing/ rolling out our ERP
- Works internally to assist in addressing all aspects of material management including procurement support, project support, pricing, and material availability
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams driving action supporting program vision and milestone deliverables
- Identify risk, mitigate, and escalate to get support as needed.
The Experience You Bring and the Skills we Need:
- Problem solving skills
- Post-secondary education in Master Scheduling or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in CPG, Pharma or Cannabis industry performing Master Scheduling
- Proficiency in creating, reading and interpreting financial databases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of ERPs
- This is a dynamic team, and as such daily tasks may vary, resulting in a fast paced and lively work environment.

About This Role

- Universal EPA Certifications or Industrial Trades Certificate in HVAC-R or Associate in Applied Science: Industrial HVAC-R

- Familiarity with computers
- Familiar with a wide range of HVAC systems, controls, and installation methods
